Thanks, Microsoft, but I’m still saying no to Windows 10

That really did/does aggravate me.  I mean, MS is obviously doing the updates anyway, they could have at least offered them to the general public for some reasonable maintenance fee.  Instead. so many people had to either buy new computers or else run unpatched XP.

Pretty much but even MS is not immune to Karma. Hint hint...

Its called greed, money, like he doesn't have enough already.  Jan 20 2020 I think they said. Damn thats coming fast.  Nothing wrong with this computer.

Question. Since I love Win 7 and intend to use it for a long time with the understanding updates will stop in2020, If I have good security and antivirus I should be fine,right?

If only there was a way to backup everything, including updates in case an install were necessary after 2020.

Win 10 is too complicated for me. I just like simple. IMHO.

Well, let's see. you could clone your hard drive, or create a full disk backup with a backup program, etc.

No.   An OS lacking needed security updates is NOT secure, no matter your anti virus and or security program.
