Google is your friend.
reshacker (7tsp,??),notepad++, gimp, paintdotnet, inkscape
And probaply much more. With only one application?. Search in the net and yes you won`t find it.There are free ones that can give amazing results, but only if the user is able to do so. I can`t help you much since i use more gtk2/3 to theme linux and skinstudio for windows. Had seen some interesting sites with just some googling so use google and check the applications i listed.
Or skin an offline version of old outdated XP first to see how it works.Vista/7/8/10 is more complicated. Do you know how to theme any ui?. Then you would know how to theme it a bit better.
With skinstudio you are able to make skins and with WindowBlinds you can apply them, I want to know what WindowBlinds does to the window that makes it possible to read custome made skin. you got any information about that?
as far as i know Windowblinds does not make any changes to windows what so ever. All the functions reside in memory only. I could be wrong but that's why WB is so popular because it makes absolutely no changes to any windows files. It's all memory based. Other skinning software requires you to used "Patched or hacked" windows files where WB does not.
Winstep Extreme does not make any system file changes either, and resides in RAM also.
However, if you're serious and determined about not using a program to customize, there's always finger paint...
I think not everyone is understanding my question. maybey it my fault. what I want to know is how can i change the default window 7 skin. I would like to make a skin like this

I need to change some thing in the default window 7 skin, How would i be able to achieve this
Perhaps you are not understanding the answers. The only way to change the skin is with a program, MSPaint is the simplest and even that won't give you what you want. Consider the control buttons for close and maximize and minimize, accessing the start menu and so on...you can change colors and shapes but you also must make them work. You want simple...check out MSStyles. Its like an app but you won't achieve what you want without one.
You can either hack (NOT RECOMMENDED) your system files and create and use a .MSStyle specifically made to look exactly like what you want, or you can get the original authors permission to have that skin made into a Windowblinds skin. Then you would need to ask someone here if they could do that for you and purchase Windowblinds to apply it once done. Some may create the skin for you for free, others may ask for compensation. The image you referenced doesn't even show the start menu and other key areas of the skin, so what is the name of that skin?
These would be your only choices.
Simplest answer to this question is that it isn't possible.
Hi,
RND is right, you can absolutely not do it in the way you seem to want to. Another thing i often see is : a skin looks flat but it isn`t declared as being flat in its thme or skin file for several reasons.
well for hacking student121571 seems to lack the skills, which is very normal.Am only able to patch some icon resources and replace simple ascii based text strings with same length in old dos applications. It would be very ( too!) risky to do it on a msstyle. Reshacker you would use then, but don`t explain more here to keep your system safe. Only in a virtualbox installation perhaps but does your computer have enough speed for that? Are you careful enough to prevent to much reinstallations/ virtual harddsik errors?
40 hours is what i did say maximal for creating a theme for a different os(linux) with a comparable not at all similar structure than windowblinds with a simple text editor and i have to mention that key areas pictures will be given to me, that i can let others do the most difficult designing tasks, the base structure ( border lengths / base color sheme) is already defined and that testing time is absolutley not included there.
Now think how much master skinners spend on creating their skins here. Its not as easy as it seems.

You should edit that to say can't, which is what you meant, I think.
Corrected RND, my network connection is buggy and n looks like a point on my keyboard actually.
Since it seems that the creator of the OP is not very familiar with the process, i would agree with everyone else. But since its not my system but his/hers i will say If you want to create your own skin then make a copy of the mssytle, then use resource hacker and replacer alternative mssytles editor on the copy and not on your system, then before you apply the finished skin make a backup. But since im a nice person i would say its probably better to just go and read a bit about it, read a bit more and then go and practice. However. Not many here will be able to help you with that, it would be probably easier to buy Object Desktop subscription it includes everything you need and more to create a skin to your taste, also you will find enough people here that can help you in detail how to do it with the help of Skinstudio without messing up your system.Alsp keep in mind by changing and modifing mssytles you bascially violating copyright, just saying that - do i care? Not realy in that case but it needs to be said.Have fun
