Replaces the Anomalies and greatly increases their diversity and coolness!Replaces all Mercenaries from the BazaarReplaces the Mines and Bazaar modelsReplaces the Pirate models and grants them a few starting ships!Adds additional Abilities!Adds additional Starting Ship Combos! KNOWN ISSUES and USE1) If you use this mod for your own ships/races/etc. a brief credit to this mod is appreciated. 2) Turn ship-trails off, I use engines as parts in turrets and hulls, it can be distracting.3) If you experience performance issues, it is most likely the result of the heavy use of animations in any/all of my ship models, or otherwise GC3's general issues. If you experience issues, I recommend either playing with less total races, less races utilizing the ship sets, or otherwise upgrading your PC. 4) Under no circumstances may you upload any of these ship designs or factions to Steam.THANK YOUPlease reach out and report any glitches/bugs, any ships with clipping or other issues. Also it would be great, if you end up adding to the designs using the custom components, for you to share them with the community! Please credit the mod if you do!Special thanks to: Horemvore for his helpful attitude and Diplomacy UI mod!R3bel02 for one of his logos. JP193 for submitting a design via the contest. Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for more!

Thanks for the reply. I just tried it again (without re-verifying), and double-checking the objgfxcfg.zip and ship.zip had transferred over. They had (I made sure to overwrite them also), so I'm not sure that's what's causing the issue?
It's weird - a couple of them do show up OK but most are just clouded... =/
Which dlc do you have? Honestly can you hire a clouded one?
Are you using any other mods?
Gauntlet
I am sorry for your loss, I think I can guess what it is. I have trouble moving on as well.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I would like to upload a gift for you. When I do I will send the link.
Link sent to your email. Enjoy

Ash,
A lot of mercenaries need special resources rather than just credits to hire. Could this be the issue?
Their icon wouldn't be grey clouds. That's the effect that occurs when the game isn't reading their icon.
I have all DLC (I purchased Elite Founder edition).
Although...
Derp. I had previously had a couple of mods installed that added events on colonisation or added more anomalies...nothing that I thought affected mercenaries (and nothing that caused this in the past either!) and to be honest I'd forgotten I'd installed them. Seems that fixed the issue though. Thanks!
No worries man... Glad you sorted it out. Might be the GRM anomalies conflicting I guess.
Greetings
How would I lower the amount of bonus tiles in your Mod?
You asked this in my mods thread also. I am guessign you mean Features by bonus tiles? Its in GalCiv3GlobalDefs.xml search for MaxFeaturesByPlanetClass
Or maybe it is the trade resources? That is also found in the same file and directly above that ^^. Btw in my mod these are GalCiv3 default, I have not changed them. I do not think Gauntlet has either tbh.
Most likely he means from ideology bonuses which I do modify...
Hey I'm just installed the latest version and I'm missing the logo for Lythian Expanse. Any ideas? All logos for other races are showing just fine.
Probably an oversight. While back I did update naming of all the logos. Just edit the race and save them with a new one if you can.
I'd like to remove the requirement for any mods to use these races. This is just for personal use, I wouldn't distribute your work. I've already removed the traits in excess of 2 but I'm having issues because the ship sets aren't recognized. Would love if you could give me a quick response on what I'd need to remove from the ship designs to get this working?
Do you have mods enabled?
Yes
So I just tried loading w/ Mods so I could access one of your civilizations. I saved the ship set to disk with a different name. Assigned the shipset to the civilization and saved the civilization. I turned mods off and reloaded. I still get an error 'Unknown Ship Style.'
Edit: Debug.err shows this line, so apparently the issue is with a Zrentak Colonies ship? But the error doesn't give enough information to know which.
Debug Message: ValidateFaction: FAILED to validate ship style: Zrentak Colonies Style Zrentak Colonies Style_664D6247C50C485DBA4A3C152BC7092D
So I'm unable to recreate your error here... not finding anything wrong with any of the shipsets/races. Perhaps consider:
A) What version of GC are you on? 3.05 Beta?
B ) Re-installing the mod fresh. Ensuring you delete ALL the race files for them. Its possible you didn't replace them in the past and they are referencing old files.
C) Recreate the shipset from scratch using the in-game fleet editor... they won't be perfect (missing fighters) but it should avoid needing mods enabled for future races.
PS: The Lythian icon should be: GRM L Flower (All Blue)
This will be fixed in the next release.
I'm on 3.04.
So the process that you think would work would be:
I really appreciate the assistance, I love the races and ship designs but want to stay more vanilla.
Just tried uninstalling GC3, deleting my GC3Crusade directory, reinstalling, installing GRM, following process outlined above, and the ship set is still invalidated. This is frustrating.
Did you delete the data in your "documents" folder... That's where mod data and factions etc are stored?
Sorry man.
Yea unfortunately. Are any of the ship designs using your custom Advance Ship Components? That is the only thing I can think of that could be causing problems if a ship has a module that isn't available in vanilla. I checked one civ's ships at a glance and didn't see any of your survey or colony modules on them.
Perhaps one day you'll release the civs as vanilla. I think for the time being I'm going to have to choose one of the default ship sets for the races, bummer, the ship designs are the best part!
New idea! I think I can look at the ShipClassDefs for each civ and manually assign the ship designs to roles and see if that works. Looks to be quite a bit of work though.
Out of curiosity...
Are you getting the error messages all the time, or only when the mods are disabled?
If it all the time I'm stumped.
If it is only when the mods are off, then did you change your shipstyles on the edited races to the new ones?
Or is it only the unedited races that have the error, in which case it is because those races depend on shipstyles that are in the mod folder which the game can't access because the mods are off.
Hope this helps.

I'm only getting the error with mods disabled. I tried to narrow it down by removing all the custom civs after saving one of their fleet styles. The fleet style is still invalid when launched w/ no mods.
