This is what I got after the alpha 2 update. I've got switchable graphic cards ( intel and radeon ). I can download drivers only from the HP site ( I've got a pavilion dv7). The newest driver hp gives has been released in 2011. What can i do?
Anyway the game works after clicking ok, but it is quite frustrating to get it everytime...
Do you think I'll be able to play the final release end every expansion in future?
Thanks
I would go to AMD's website and look for the driver for your card. See if there is a more recent driver available.

I can't download drivers directly from the producer's site because I would lose the possibility of switching. I'm sure about that...
But the real question is: do you think I'll be able to play the final release end every expansion in future with my old drivers?
It is always good to try and get the latest drivers so the the game can perform at its best for you. The discussion in the link may be relevant to your issue at hand as well, which we have found a resolve too.https://forums.galciv3.com/453240/page/1/#3456138
That is what I got. It did not show till after this 0.0.2.0 update.
In reference to having switchable graphics cards, As I mentioned in the other forum post: https://forums.galciv3.com/453240/page/1/#3456138"...We will change the way the warning error displays. So that the error should no longer display if the non-compatible card isn't the main card being used." This fix will not be live until after 0.0.2.0, see if this fix helps with not seeing the error message. If it does not, please feel free to let me know.
Ok, thanks.
But the main question was: do you think I'll be able to play the final release end every expansion in future with my old drivers ( of the main card)?
Because the error message is about my main card, not about the other one.
Thank you again
I know this problem about old drivers for HP's laptops (with Intel HD Video and AMD Radeon HD hybrid graphics), I own Pavillion DV6 with i5/HD3000 and Radeon HD 6770m.
The only solution that I know it's the custom drivers from Leshcatlabs (google it, I don't know if it permissible to give a link here).
This custom pack contains both of Intel and AMD drivers (of course modern versions) and makes possible graphic's switching.
And yes, if you are interested you should read manual on their site.
Could you pass me your debug.err? That way we can get more information regarding your issue.
I've done it by mail. ( [#SYT-392-42515] )
We've responded to your ticket. Be on the lookout for the email.
Thanks!
