Well, basicially I would just like to say thanks to Ironclad Games for the continuation of the Sin's series. Rebellion is one of the most awesome games I have played in a long time. Even if you don't read it, I still wanted to show my appriciation.
I love the fact that the game runs so smooth, is so easy to manage and still fun to play, even if some of the space battles often lacks a bit of strategy to them.
I got bored with the original sins after playing it for 20 hours or so, but the continuation of additions really spice things up.
I hope you guys will add some more planet tech at some point though, like missile batteries, planet shielding (I know you can research and build it in orbit - but think starwars) etc. so you can customize planets even more.
Also, consider giving some of the cap ships an ability to fleet jump in at a specific point in the neightbouring sector- this would open up for "sniping" certain buildings... would be fun. I hope it makes sense (the idear is from the Star Wars - Thrawn Triology - where stardestroyers hyperspace jumps very close to some defense platforms and takes em out, and then jumps away).
Could be prevented by the jump inhibitors.
Keep up the good work [e digicons]<3[/e]
That sounds like fun ideas And yeah, Trinity I played for about 50 hours max total in 1 year, and then got bored and it's gathering dust now. With rebellion I got really exited and it's a lot of fun! Already got 390 hours of gameplay and don't see myself quitting anytime soon Great job guys
It is a great game.
A wonderful series all around.
Yes, Sins is a very great game:
What I love most about Sins:
Now... once you finished up your other projects, get working on Sins 2. [e digicons]|-)[/e]
(And make sure it has multi core support and 64 Bit.... unless you want 5000 angry fans storming your headquarter to personally "motivate" you to correct that error^^) [e digicons][/e]
