Thinking of making a dozen factions, half Kingdoms, half Empires. All with different faction traits, but all of the same race: Mancers. Just to see how faction traits by themselves stack up against one another without racial traits muddying the waters.
What would be good Faction/Sov combos to include in the list?
You know, you will have to run the experiment A LOT of times to get any significant results.
Yep. Will be running it on autopilot to see which faction consistently prevails (if any).
Hmm. This is combo is pretty similar to what I'm finding fits my preferred play style:
Faction traits:
* Weak to Magic
* Wanderers
* Archers
* The one which gives +10% hit points
* Lucky
* Masterwork Chainmail
Sovereign traits:
* Weak to Magic (my sovereigns are always alarmingly weak to magic- thank goodness the AI almost never hits them with spells )
* 1st tier Earth Magic (whatever the most basic level is called)
* The +4 defense unique gauntlets
* The +3 attack trait
* Wealthy
* Attunement (or whatever the +2 mana per-turn trait is called)
* Hardy
Sovereign should be armed with a War-hammer & have Armorer as their profession.
