For the last few weeks, the poor IT team have been battling spam bots. Let’s give a shout out to all our hard working moderators who have been able to clean it up quickly and the IT team that’s been making it harder for them to do it.

Anyhow, spammers are a different breed of animal to us and I reckon they should be strung up by the gonads until they're very, very, very sorry and promise not to do it again.
And yes, many thanks to the mods and admins who keep our forums spam free.

I too hate spam, but what I hate even more is sitting here, as moderator, watching the spammers filling the forums with their shit - live - and not being able to do dick about it.... other than report each thread and hope someone notices the reports.

I come from that part of the planet where the world's oldest football code originated....have lived here for almost 58 years and have NEVER attended a match.
I will admit, however to attending an Arsenal vs. Stoke City soccer [football] match in 1973 whilst touring in England....at least the Poms can make a round ball...and actually use their....wait for it.....FEET in a "football" match....
