In nearly all cases, things are disabled because we’re in the process of hooking the AI up to them which introduces stability issues that would complicate the public beta.

Got it downloaded, not verified at all though- taking forever.
I just got my order e-mail, and I can now see it in impulse.
Got receipt for pre-order 25 minutes ago and beta now downloading. Total 1.31 Gb.
ya thats what i was guessing.
Guess Beta 1 testers forgot we still need a Serial Number in the email to get Beta2 if we are new.

Had to reboot to get it to verify. Strange, first Impulse issue I've had in a while. Probably not Impulse though.
Okay I pre-ordered Elemental about 3 days ago and JUST got the confirming e-mail... So for those of you just starting to participate in Beta 2 you'll be good. Just wait...
Got my email as well! About an hour ago from time of this posting. If it downloads and verifies fast enough; may even get to get my toes wet in the game before work, woo!
Yeap, I got mines as well. Just wait for the confirmation email and you'll see it in impulse minutes later.
If you guys want to hear something that really sucks. I had two impulse accounts and asked for them to be merged together. Well today they decided to do it however it seems they actually deleted both accounts and now i am unable to download the update. They couldnt have waited 2 more hours for me to get the update before doing this...... Noooooo!
Hey guys, do you reckon that people who pre-ordered in the UK are lower down the list of recieving emails? Because I haven't recieved mine yet and my card has been charged!
I just now received mine, so it is probably taking a while to move through the orders.
Double check spam/junk folder as well if appropriate, just in case it ended up there. Although even if you don't recieve the email for whatever reason, assuming it processed, you can still d/l via Impulse without manually putting in key etc. Login, make sure you have 'Show Prerelease Software' enabled and refresh for updates.
Of course; this isn't going to be instant process all around. I bet there are thousands of orders to process, so if it isn't there yet, hopefully will be done shortly.

But the devs may be telling you that the US will pwn you guys in football... just saying. FIFA 10 is us.

Be sure you have pre-release versions turned on. Hit the menu in the top left and hit the check mark beside it.
Wow people must have been hitting the servers pretty hard. It's very slow. I've been downloading for the past couple of hours and I'm still at 34%.
Where you located?
admittedly I am only on 1.5Mbit but am averaging 1.45Mbit on EACH of the three downloading it according to impulse.
Sweet. Can't wait to run home and start the download. Then pasta & a movie.
