I would like to know who is in Prison on Prison.
I would like know who built that Prison.
Why are we fighting on top of this Prison?
Why was this guy imprisoned?
I'd actually like to know.

Yeah.... QoT has bigger.....*ahem*....talents
Well it states in the opening movie that all the demigods are siblings in some way or form. That previous All-Father didn't have to actually father these demigods he just intervened with their creation some how. Who knows what he did, but he decided to add a bit of his power to a bunch of different mortals or demons.
True, and that would wrap up the title of Progenitor reasonably well.
Or it could be Queen of thorns, there is nothing that actually says that the progenitor was good or evil and she says she may take after her father. Seing how we don't know who her parents is and it was the lust of men that turned her evil. It can also assume she is the child.
Demigod had such a potential for a great single player campaign story.
Edit
Only problem I have is we have no idea a what time where all the character brought together, and neitherwhy they were chosen.
I'm saying the backstory had so much potential for something more.
The back stories should have been linked some how.
Well, basically, the Ancients were all knowing. They did not wish to share their ways with lesser beings because it would disrupt the balance of something. For whatever reason, The Progenitor or All-Father, shared ways with those beyond the dwelling of the Ancients.
So based on that part, The Ancients are a council, prob of equivalent leveled Gods.
In this world, knowledge of certain magic or w/e is considered power, those in power are separated by those who have no power by a veil.
The Progenitor prob broke a sacred rule, and got banished, and to add insult to injury i guess that him and everything he had as an Ancient, he lost.
...my guess is that while he had betrayed the Ancients, those actions of his led to the birth of individuals with Ancient Knowledge. So they are demigods, not of birthright, but of self-achievement. this makes sence, because they are called "pretenders" in the story, and demigods do not need to "prove themselves worthy" in most myths of our history.
...after The Progenitor was cast down, i think this cuz i view "Deep Places" as deep space, like the cosmos and w/e
...he wasnt prisoned, just laid low, he was weakened, a lot!
...Im guessing that the thing in the prison is a devil, or demon, not relevant to the mythology....
The first problem with this is if they are all knowing than they would know he was in a weakened state. This means eventually his power would return and he would do all over again what he did in the first place; or he would return to reclaim what is rightfully his. This would just lead for more trouble and history repeating itself all over again. So if you were all knowing wouldn't it be wiser to trap a weakened god than let it roam free? This situation is much similar to the greek gods and titans. Even though the gods won the battle they could not kill the titans while in their defeated state, so what did they do? They trapped them in torturous (Spelled it wrong).
Lets not forget from the demigods origins; not one has even come into contact with the progenitor. Nor do we even know why these certain demigods were chosen. OK I could understand OAk, Rook, Da, or UB; these four demigods are more than likely one of a kind. But TB seems to be some sort of liche and I am sure there are a handful of them around. Sedna....is human....yeaaaaa...... Queen of thorns is a fairy; I bet there are a couple of those around, and same for vampires. Occulus actually seems to even be the only demigod that has even come in contact with the ancients, and it wasn't to share sacred knowledge. Each demigod more or less was born with their powers or abilities and until further information is released saying otherwise; was not granted them by the progenitor.
One more thing that also proves most theories wrong is the whole time setup which mostly because of oak and lesser LE. OAK has lived for probably more than 1000 years (remember he has only severed exile for 900 but we still don't know how long he was alive before that.) If all this happen as you say; than it would have to had happen around the creation of oak, but I don't think they would wait 900 or so years to try and get 10 heroes to battle it out to become a ancient. Not while those who weren't governed by time was more than likely already there. Now you could say this happened towards the end of oaks 1000s year exile, but that would serve to prove that the progenitor had absolutely nothing to do with the creation of the demigods; seeing how he has been around before the progenitor began sharing information with the being beyond the vial.
