This is actualy more of a repost then anything. mrappard actualty suggested this back in june/july when the SDK was supposidly nearing completion ( [e digicons][/e] ...) (Is anyone up for a Collab)
anyway with the SDK around the corner ( [e digicons]^_^'[/e] )... and with our brand spanking new modding section fo the forums ( [e digicons]:grin:[/e] ) i thought now if a good time to bumb this old post back into the spot light. first of, what we want is to:
Create a working and playable Frogboy Demigod [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e]
In order to do this we'll need a good group of modders (since SD/GPG have expressed how incredibly difficult this is going to be.) Anyone interested should post their interest below and try find me on the #dgmodding channel on the IRC (or PM me). for something like this i'm thinking we'll need quite a few 3D modelers and animators as well as some coders for doing abilities and such. All in all it'll probably be very tough.. and in all honestly we might not even finish it. However if a good amount of work goes in and some nice clean models come out of it i can't see y SD or GPG wouldn't mind picking up the project and finishing it themselves.
and after all... its Frogboy we're talking about here. that's right, the one who kept our hearts lifted with journal entries and 50 min documentaties about late nites at SD ([e digicons]:')[/e] ) . honestly he probably needs another vactiona and a raise, but since no one here can do that we might as well try immortalize him as a Demigod

What I love about demigod is that it has this weird awkward unique designs like The Rook and Unclean Beast, Those are one of the best most unique stuff I've seen in a while.I think that a frog with a sword is pretty generic compared to those.. Maybe it should be just a gigantic normal frog or frog boy riding his mount which is a frog, something more unique, or a frog with a freekin big piece of scary metal on his face that he uses to chomp things with.Thanks for reading and sorry for the crappy/grammar spelling !

Voting for the dark blue-ish frog. I think that would fit mostly in Demigod.
If you're using 3ds max, isn't there a program that will do it for you? You just got to select the correct poly's as if it was surgery. A line straight down the center of the face and neck and then selecting the triangles. Been a while since I have used 3ds though... I think it was like texasUVW. Doesn't churn anything up on google though.

how about sucking in some small ground unit and spit it out dealing damage to the opponent.
Combo move with Sedna.. she gives it a light kiss, and it turns into a Developer for 5 seconds. Developers have godlike powers of course.

I ve seen masses of mod-threads since 1.2, but no one announced a self-made DG model.
on the other side, there are a lot of 3D modelers out there, is no one of them in this community ????

well, it will take a lot of time to create a demigod (especially for the community), you're not expecting to see a new demigod the first two weeks are you?I guess we will just have to wait and see, hopefully someone will be able to show us something in the future.
