This is the story of the last of the Babylon 5 mod-efforts. It's goal, to prevent another failure, by creating a place to solve our problems collaboratively. Its a port of call, home away from home, for modelers, texturers, programmers and sound engineers.

Sometimes the in-game mod loader can be a bit funky so if you can't see the mods you've installed or something isn't working then enabling the mods via the 'EnabledMods.txt' file in your 'Mods-Rebellion v1.85' folder where you installed the mods to is the other alternative. It should look like this to work:

We are not done but most of the mod team are experiencing life challenges at the moment so the mod must by necessity take a back seat. We still converse back channel and work is proceeding if slowly. The current focus is bug hunting, the goal is a stable build but the last several internal builds contain a serious problem that leads to a fatal crash. Until we isolate the cause and work a solution progress is at a pause.
I hope your update the mod, because the babylon 5 universe is great, the ship are great.

I can change the picture if u want i have make 10 picture in the player_portrait for each races.

the model of firstone that i put in the game :
the colors, weapon ability etc etc is not made, i just put the mesh in the shadow stalker for watching the model.
and for the interface :
i make for buton curvorover, normal, disabled to
i put in your mod scream and pain for shadow ship. i have mesh for more ship, and race like drakh, drazi, thirdspace.
base military narn, centauri base, babylon6 and other. ( always without aura above ability, weapon etc from SIns_meshpoints.xsitb).
i just put the mesh files into gameinfo fregate shadow stalker for watching the match.

Impressive work, while there is a backlog of models you'd need to speak to TobiWahn or Hale-sose, there is also a separate web site where they are tracking the models but I'd really have to look to find the link, better if one of them posted or sent via PM.
The UI work is really helpful, good UI will go along way to make the mod more immersive and finished in appearance. I'll see if I can get TobiWahn to surface and comment.
the interface, background, portrait etc are solely my work however and i will agree to provide to your team work ( they are still at the stage original and deserve still some improvements).
i think the models i have come from the web site you say.
the manufacturer of the model told me that they were free to use.
The process and handling to make them compatible with the game is long enough.

Not the last release, but the last 9 month changed my life dramatically, not always to the best, so time and motivation took a back seat concerning this mod. It is far from over though. But first I promised to make a model for another modding effort, which I'm doing as time permits. After that I will work on the mod again (as time permits). And the big roadblock (the minidump/crash) does set us back a little...
The models from the websites are not used because the mostly use way more polygons than adequate, also they tend to not have a good UV for texture optimisation. So I basically use them as a point of reference for creating optimised models from scratch. That way I can keep the polygon count low and optimise the UV.
Thanks, any help is welcome. As a little advice, there are some free babylon 5 fonts to use (one of which is included with the mod in the fonts folder). Character portrait screens are a very welcome addition for immersion, so please feel free to get them ready for inclusion if you feel like it.
I do like the idea of firstones guarding the Occupation Victory planet, though we still have so many other models to finish that these are luxury projects
How many max poly for frigate, capital ship, titan, etc ?
The right looks better IMHO. Sins of the Younger Races, finally a B5 UI makeover.
