Updating some skins...thought I would show off some of the changes.
ecoLogical is getting the full 7,Vista,Xp makeover.With some help from Dani on 7 and some inspiration from vStyler there will be 29 substyles!
Knot Vista is also getting the full 7,Vista XP makeover.Many changes,huge selection of styles and colors.New name will be Knot Aero so it will not overwrite the original (if you are one of the few that already have it )

Thanks freinds,...I'm being a little premature here actually...the window frame isnt even fully modelled yet and I keep tweaking things that I thought were done.
Plus this is for me a very busy time with Housing appointments and Dr. visits and dealing with Social Security so I am very distracted right now.The good news is ole' Brain has finally been approved for SSI after 4 years of living on 200$ a month.
I may actually have a real place to live and a buy a cheap car soon.woohoo!.(and a new pc...wow)

Congrats on navigating the sea of red tape to get SSI.
Are you sure that isn't a photograph? I can't think of any graphics that I've ever seen that are this realistic. Is this all Cinema 4D?

There will probably be some after render PS touchups to deal with but the goal is to not have to.Any experienced 3D artist could do even better,I'm still a noob.I was just willing to keep watching tutorials and tweaking til I got results good enough for the purpose...a windowblind.
Any 3D app can produce these results...even the free Blender app...its actually quite powerful.
Here is the dumb part on my part...the base package of C4D dosnt include the advanced render module...and I DIDNT need it.(not for skinning anyways...rendering something like this in GI is just NOT necessary.(and slooooooooooooowwwwwwwwww)
The main things here are camera position,3 lite sources(one being the hdri globe for reflections) and some slight texturing.An expert would probably say,well,you just made everything shiny...and people like shiny things.
And they would be right...but Slider was always meant to be all shiny so thats what I went for.No Load Limit will get a similar makeover with less shiny stuff more fitting to its needs.
Also,this isnt just for XP...it will have different user panes for Vista and 7...maybe even a blank one for those who dont want any text.
