since you mention it, let's do an arranged match somtimes, my team against your team, see who looses his win streak You name it 3v3 or 4v4. We're all in top 20 so no prob there.

also waiting 1 hour for a premade team match haha, looser, it just takes 5 to 10 minutes to gather a team.... its just another excuse to stomp some noobs. sry but u will never have that good communication without voip. there is simply NO CHANCE.

A pitty to see, that those guys only play custom games. It would be more impressive if that records were made in the pantheon, where you never know who you are facing and with whom you play ! In addition it´s beyond my imagination how you can play daily (!!) about 7-8 games in average. I don´t have even the time - and when, I would get bored too soon from the game....

What times are you and your team normally on Itchy? I wouldn't mind a good epic match 3v3 with all of us from top 20.
The only time we've had a top 20 match was when me and archaic dhaos beat luckygrin/manreal (who by the way took it so poorly that he resorted to accusing us of actually cheating by making oak's shield longer than was possible...).
luckygrin is good, but can be a bit of a jerk, though. Also, its a little lousy that the top 20 ("best players") are all guys in premades. Oh well... I'll start hoarding stats after the next reset... host my own games, etc. Hope you guys at the top do get around to playing against each other.

And yeah - as Pacov mentioned - I may be a jerk sometimes, but that comes due to my tiredness usually. Got a lot of late games lately. Forgive me for that dear top-20 friends
By the way: I know at least 10 not-even-top-100 players who are REALLY good. And all that stats are just nothing actually, if u ask me. Highest place usually means more time spend on the game.
It's cool Luckygrin. No hard feelings here. It was maybe 1 or 2 days after the 1.1 patch and it was your first loss so I could understand how upset you were.
Also, I think the stats work both ways. There are plenty of amazing players that aren't at the top of the stats simply because you need to dedicate a lot of time and games played to make it there. On the other hand, being near the top of the stats will still most probably indicate a strong level of skill.
Yeah, it is unfortunate because it dilutes the meaningfulness of the situation. For instance, Itchy has darn near to 100% premades, and most of the time his partners are other players in the top 100. I'm not saying he shouldn't play with them, just that if you are playing with 2 friends in the top even 200 all the time, against pugs, it skews things.
I actually noticed recently, that when I play games with 'no premade' in the title (I do this when I host by myself) that almost everyone who joins has a losing record (more losses than wins). It seems that the dichotomy between premade teams and random pugs is just that great.
I'd be really curious to see what % of the time the host wins the game. I bet it is an excruciatingly high amount.
Interesting. What's their skill level like though- are they as bad as their record indicates? At some point, number of games played becoms more important than win/loss ratio as a consideration. I've run into some pretty good players who have more or less a 50/50 win loss record, or even a bit less than that. I find that someone who has a 50/50 record but who has played at least 50 games is usually fairly good. If someone plays a lot of PUGs and his win ratio is 60% or above, I would bet that that the person is a good player.
Try hosting your non-premade games to say "No premade; no noobs"- maybe that will help a little.

funny that one game you dropped Shadow, I think was the game w/ my team bringing the heat on you, and you didn't have Rapier with you. We had the edge and you dropped, unfortunately.

You mean the game crash that ended my win streak at 91? Oh yeah, that was so intentional. After all, why try and fight to maintain the streak when I can just quit the game and end it right there? Funny.
So this is where all the good players have been hiding. We needs to get some steamy 3v3 premade action going on sometime. I wanna work for a win this time x_x.
I doubt Shadow and his buds cheat at all or use the host disconnect exploit. Review some of their individual games (I have) and see. Also, the host disconnect exploit would screw all but the host (eg farewell winning streak). The only cheap move that I'm aware they could pull would be dropping before 3 min up... and I doubt that would happen.
