Pantheon and just about everything else isn't fair. There's always the chance you will get stuck with someone who sucks or even worse, an AI.
Premades help make the game more enjoyable. Getting paired with someone you know is far better than getting stuck with random people of varying skill levels. I'd rather matches not be based on the "luck of the draw."
Just for clarification, myself and my friends just spent an *hour* looking for a game because whiny assholes kept joining our game and leaving as soon as they figured out that we knew each other. Many had self-righteous comments about the unfairness of playing with people you know. Some waited for the game to fill up and then quit just to spite us, starting a snowball of leavers.

pantheon premades in a way is cheating since you exploit the connection info to get your friend while the other team is random.
until they allow premade pantheon teams, there is an unfair advantage in an organized 2v1v1.

Well the op definitely wasn't joking, but seriously I feel his pain. I hope we see some kind of 3v3 or 4v4 premade pantheon feature like there is in Dawn of War 2.
Dude people constantly bitch about premades even when I host a game and my team has clan tags... We dont EVER EVER want to play randoms but thats just how it is.. there are like 3 teams in this game so far so its hard not to play against randoms.

Premade teams are NOT against the rules, not unethical, and exactly what custom games are for.
Unfortunately they are also very frustrating to play against as a pickup team for 2 reasons:
1) in a pickup team you can have one or more very unreliable players who don't want to coordinate or communicate.
2) no matter what you say, there is a communication gap when you don't know your teammates you don't have when you do. Chatting (until they have in-game voice) is just not good enough.
These two things DO give an advantage to the premade team, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. No one, including me, wants to be at a disadvantage before they even begin. I'll take a fair fight over a disadvantage any day. I WILL leave against a premade before it starts, if I think I can get in a pure pickup game, as premade teams are not fair (i.e. one team starts with an advantage). Good teamwork and communication is king in this game...
That being said, PM teams are not unbeatable, nor is the advantage impossible to overcome. Many matches are not "fair" for one reason or another, but still worth playing. I have even beaten a 3v3 premade team with one good partner and a leaver/AI. But I can understand not wanting to begin a game already behind the curve, just as much as I can understand wanting to start it ahead of the curve (by making a premade).
tbh this game should have more premades and proper tournaments, pickups etc.

The OP is clearly being fastecious, and those who can't see it are... sad. That said, if you don't want people to leave the lobby when you have a premade team, put it in the game title. Maybe you'll get more premade teams in opposition.
I can't blame anyone for not wanting to play in a game of randoms vs premade. I don't play against them when if I don't have a team mate(s). Playing against premade teams is fun but often challenging. It's bad enough that when you play with randoms you have to worry about whether somebody will rage quit after their first death or just be a shitty player. Playing against an organized team under those circumstances sucks.

Premades shouldn't happen in custom games because there's no reasonable alternative.. let's be honest, playing Pantheon's much worse.
Fact is, if you've got a premade, then put it in the title so other premades join or only people who want to play a premade. It's not a big thing to ask for people to warn their potential opponents that they're pre-arranged.
DeadMG, and everyone else for that matter, the best advice I can give you on the note of premades is to simply run the game in windowed mode, have the pantheon section of this website open in the background, and as people join (or as you join games), look up those people to see if they play together regularly.
I'm aware this is far more unreasonable than having people put "Premade" in the title of their games, but if you want to remove all doubt, you'll have to take the matter into your own hands. Also, it should give you a fair bit of knowledge about the outcome of the game before it even starts.
(This is, of course, if you're all srs bsns about the Demigods like I am :3 )
If you've played with them before and they are on your team now, you are a premade.
