So, I got my 50% off coupon for another copy of Demigod. I used it to buy one of my buddies a copy of the game. He can't play online with me. Then, I bought Galatic Civilizations 2 over the weekend. Great game. Great AI. Wish I had that 20% off coupon for that... and now, dare I say it, I'm interested in picking up Elemental early so I can see it evolve as the beta's are released...
Any eta on when I can expect that 20% off coupon? I support stardock, but I haven't heard anything in a while about that coupon and I'm hoping it hasn't fallen by the wayside. I'm not looking forward to the hundreds of "can I have your 20% off coupon" threads, but I'd love to be able to use one myself. Thanks!
To quote the email that the 50% off coupon came in:
"In addition, next week we will be sending out a second coupon that will give users 20% off of any game or application on Impulse. To help encourage an active Demigod community, we will be occasionally be sending out additional coupons to active players of Demigod (people who play more than a couple of hours a week). "
That email came out 5/22, so the coupon should have come last week, so the 20% off code should already be out. Any chance someone from stardock would be willing to address this?

I find that jumping into a post that you apparently have nothing contructive to add to is quite awesome, but I'll take to heart your comment about not creating a new post. Perhaps I should have just combined all of the information into that one.
I did get a response from Kryo on IRC that "it will be out when its out." As this hasn't been addressed, I'm guessing that's prety close to the official stance (rather than what was sent out via email). I'd love to hear otherwise, though.
Any chance we could get a more firm date? I'd hope it doesn't come across as me being a jerk, but if a company says they are going to do something at a particular time and does not do so, is it really that unreasonable to ask "why" or "when will it come out?" I don't think so.
So, that's all I'm asking. Can anyone from Stardock give a more realistic picture of when its going to be out? Promise I'm just going to buy elemental with it... jeeze.

Pacov, first I wanna let you know that you are being completely reasonable and that it is a bit unreasonable of Stardock to continuously make promises and not keep them. Throwing bullshit at us and keeping us in the dark (the mushroom treatment) is not helping. The various stardock zealots who are trashing you here are a fine example of the idiocy present in these forums. If you say something negative toward stardock or frogboy you will get shit upon. Stand up for those things consistently and you will get Karma and a place in the mob.
There is no need to quiet down, if anything more people should be demanding an update. It would take five minutes to make an update about the status of this 20% coupon, and it could certainly be seen as rude to not give us customers that update, particularly since a promise in writing was broken.

And when we say we intend to do something it really means that we are making a solemn promise. ETA = A vow of exactness.
