Welcome to 7 Deadly Sins 2.5 FINAL for the latest version of Sins Entrenchment 1.053.7DS can only be played at HIGH maximum settings. DO NOT USE VERY HIGH settings. This will cause a minidump. Also, there is an issue with Win7 64 bit. You will get crashes, load errors, or the game will not even play, with or without warning. Trader Emergency Coalition- solely based on trade and swarming, with little military might Corpo-Nations that have rebelled against the Trade Order. Their military might stripped, they have turned to allying themselves with various factions and hiring mercs for protection. TEC has new Battlecruisers, mercenary contracts, and EMP shells that bypass shields to a small degree.Trade Coalition Armada- the military arm of the Trade Order Once the development arm of the Trade Order, they are now the last hope for the Trade Order and humanity. Their ships are bricks with extreme range railguns.
TCA has state of the art weapons on traditional capitalships plus the Dresden and Athena Dreadnought and Beta Kol Titan.The Orion Unity- modified Orion and Advent Combine Some Orion split with the Atlantian-Orion Combine to guide the Advent towards their ultimate evolutionary stage. TOU ships are stronger, faster and deadlier; They can even travel between worlds using the Phase Stabilizer technology of the Tempest Titan. Ship research boosts weapon performance.
DARK FLEET- modified Vasari The Dark Fleet is all that remains of the Vasari. Where the weak Exodus ran often and fought rarely, the Dark Fleet seeks total dominion through force of arms. Their 5 Titan ships roam looking for prey. Play style is familiar with greater armor, firepower and destructive potential.
Imperial Armada- from Star Wars Guided by a clone of General Thrawn, the wasteland armadas of the Imperial Armada can employ powerful Force Alchemical Technology and even unleash the power of the Executor Super Star Destroyer. Can unlock Jedi and/or Sith Holocrons for performance boost to defenses or offenses respectively -and at the expense of the other.
Rogue Cadre- Playable, custom pirates Rob, pilfer, and steal your way to greatness. The Rogue Cadre is a melting pot of human cultures, Advent refugees and what remains of the Vasari. They have gathered against the TCA, TOU, Atlantian-Orion Combine and TOC to free humanity from tyranny, mysticism and slavery. Posess the Precursor Titan and The Machine -the latter capable of capturing capitalships
Arilou Vanguard- UFO race from the Star Control Games Not being of this dimension, the Arilou do not rely on money and normal means of transport or construction. They simply spawn ships from their "motherships", and travel through Quasispace, which propels them at near instant speeds from planet to planet.
Ur-quan KohrAh Third Doctrinal Fleet- Death race from the Star Control games Totally aggressive, the Korh-Ah are built for battle. They are all offense, and barely any defense. They focus on exterminating every race and every planet they find, and almost every ship is capable of boming from orbit. Their goal is to "cleanse" the universe of all other sentient life, anything that is not an Ur-Quan.
Ur-Quan KzerZa Third Doctrinal Fleet- Slaving race from the Star Control games Unlike their Kor-Ah cousins, the Kzer-Za believe in a diplomatic approach, let alone old habits of enslaving entire races into their Hierarchy. They have grown from their 10,000 year old ways, and are more good than bad now.
Atlantian-Orion Combine- the ultimate race, the seeders of life (the gods) The Combine are part of the original Creator Alliance and responsible for seeding galaxies with genetic data. The Orion are the protectors and defenders until the Atlantian vessels can be fielded. Their greatest strength is their technology, but the loss of labs remove bonuses gained from research.
Taalo Horde- Ancient Rock race, from the Star Control games As if the universe itself groaned for a protector, the Taalo have awakened from a million year slumber only to find old allies -the Atlantians and Arilou stripping the galaxy of semi-sentient flo-metal. They are the ultimate enviromental defender with a naive sense of justice. They have incorporated alien technology into their asteroid bodies with great results.
Triad of Creation- Ancient Destroyers of Worlds, Galactic Enslavers The Triad of Creation, the Dnyarri, Antaran and Lapis, seek to eradicate all life in the universe. They nearly destroyed the Atlantian-Orion Combine in the Ori galaxy by turning their creation -the Vasari- against them. They emerged from within the Rogue Cadre taking a sizeable portion of their population into slavery. Their fleets struck the Taalo and Dark Fleet with vessels designed for infiltration nearly crippling the two factions.

The TCA has been an ongoing evolution of what a few have envisioned humanity to be in the late future. The TCA is basically a big human conglomeration of stuff. But at the same time relateable. Like railguns, and gauss cannons... Those armaments exist today in some form or another.
Our forums are back online, so we can discuss balancing of the trade cadre to give them some extra ass.
Just wanted to let people know I am alive and well, and FULL TIME back in action.
I have been working hard over the past few months to get ready another BETA release of 7DS. A brand new Orion race awaits you, as well as updated Atlantians, Trade Cadre, TCA, TOC....tons of new and updated stuff. New stars and planets, you name it.
Your patience is about to pay off.
Oh and by the way, this month is 7 Deadly Sins, 7th birthday! That's right campers.....7DS is 7!
It's an 18hour download, but gonna be worth it.Honestly my favourite mod, just so much diversity in the races/factions.Keep it up lads
I must say i loved this mod and played it constantly but constant revamping and modifying of same ships and therefore never coming near completion of workable version put me off from it.
There are only a few people active working on the mod. It also is quite a hefty endeavour to build something of this scale when everyone has family/work/life to fit their modding time around.The fact that the team wants to make sure the mod is the best it can be, and not shove out quick releases that are incomplete and buggy as hell is a testament to the dedication put in. There are massive changes to the mod going in, stats balancing, model/texture upgrades, new content, new tactical and strategic options.If you don't have the patience to wait like everyone else then that is your problem mate.
I understand people have their real lives and for most of you this is side project and first step to learn and maybe move into games/programming world and this mod will never be finished. I also know Dan has flash based projects going on. I started same way.
I am not flaming or insulting but replacing heavy cruiser with 5 different models before working release (i don't really know how many of them it was) is not the way things are done in this world. Usually you work in cycles kinda like change ships/planets etc you want and balance best you can then release. Then repeat the process again.
As said I move in coding world myself and I like guys because they put countless hours into mod for nothing but satisfaction in return.
My previous post was just a bit of constructive criticism and I hope no one will be offended by it.
No offense taken, and no worries. Fact is, as long as I have breath in me, I am always going to want to improve 7DS. So, don't wait for me to enjoy the mod, go ahead and download it! Yes, I have many projects going on, including working 10 hours a day and family time, but I still put time into this too.
Wintercross is right, there is a TON of new stuff coming to the next version, and our biggest yet. It's not just about adding a bunch of the same kind of ships, but providing the player with the ultimate variety in a game. I like games that are complex with very many options to choose from, and can spend countless hours just making things just the way I want, and I wanted 7DS to be that for Sins players, to overwhelm them with choices, both in race and options within each race for strategy. Just remember 7DS isn't Sins anymore, its like a whole different game.

So why have you branched off and made your own game yet man
The Empires fortress constructor doesnt work, it takes my money but doesnt build anything if I try to build the golan (spelling)The TCA's fortress still crashes my game if it fires on anything for some reason.
Yeah, that's a known bug.I'm reworking the Imperial Fortress anyway with a new model so that will all eventually get fixed.
Don't you worry.....I'm working on something little by little....
Thanks for the info. Yeah we are looking into that. It must be an ability or something that is causing that issue.
Thank you all for being patient. The next release should be out soon. There are a few more things I need to tidy up, including known bugs, before I put out the next Beta.
Yeah, it is just the ability and the starbase entities aren't referencing each other properly, it's a simple fix but it is somewhat pointless considering the Imperial Starbase will be replaced via the Empire overhaul I'm working on =P
Yah it's all good so far, still love the TCA style of damage and tankiness.I assume the Atlantians are OP by design, because they always wreck me pretty bad unless I can manage to kill them off quickly. Then again, I'm not that good lol
Yeah, there are like 3 'tiers' of factions.Top tier are the 'god like' factions; Atlantians and the TOC I believe... Basically they have very, very powerful ships late game, but they are also expensive and usually are weak to early rushes.Second tier are the 'strong' races; TCA, The Empire, Dark Fleet remnant, Arilou etc.then the bottom tier are the weak but spammy type races, like the TEC/Rogue (which I believe Makon has combined into one group now.)
I just wanted you all to know that a Beta release is coming soon, VERY soon. And I wanted to share some pictures with you of what is in store, to give you just a "taste" of things to come. I've also been working on fixing up the Empire faction for 7DS.Since Dan is showing some pretty screens I'll share what I've been doing.reworked ISD-1 and ISD-2 models:
and also made them some custom exhaust fx:
also reworked the VSD-1 and VSD-2, so that they have similar, but different appearance. The VSD-1 has the classic 'wings' while the VSD-2 has them removed.
Both also have custom exhaust fx and as you can see the VSD-2 has the engine layout similar to an ISD (which according to some sources is lore accurate =P ) also implemented a new Starbase for the Empire; the Fortress class starbase is what I've taken to naming it: and also reworked the Venator too
The venator is going to be changed to be a carrier capital rather than the colony cap. Probably the VSD-2 will act as the colony ship, since according to Starwars canon it carries a fairly large compliment of troops and equipment. I've also been giving the turbolaser particle effects a work over and been making some 'flash' like hit effects to try and get it looking more like the movies.

Yes, you read that correctly my friends...7DS 3.0 Beta 3d....... "It is finished"After over a year in making, and you guys over a year in waiting, I present to you 7DS 3.0 Beta 3d. The largest, and best 7DS yet.What I showed in pictures only scratches the surface. I left most of the mod a surprise for you all to discover.All new models, all new music, all new skyboxes, new planets, new effects....just about everything has been touched and reworked. New game mechanics as well. This isn't the same 7DS you guys knew before!So, after 7 years of production, I give you this release.Please keep in mind, this is still a BETA mod, so there will be bugs, glitches, etc. It is up to you guys to find them and report them PLEASE! Include reports, pictures, etc. You can also post up pretty pics just to show off if you want too I thank you all for your support, those who helped with the mod, and those of you who have dying to play it.
