You have dared to enter the lair of the most ferocious predators in the galaxy! It is the ulitmate destiny of the Kzinti to conquer the other civilizations of the galaxy, subjugate and enslave any who may prove useful to us, and devour the rest. The Fanged God has ordained that this is how it will be.In just 26 octals of days (7 months or so...Kzinti count in base 8), the Kzinti Empire rose from obscurity, to #1 on the Metaverse. With the blessings of the Fanged God, we have remained dominant for 100s more octals of days since that auspicious day. We leapt past the other empires, and our mighty domain now encompasses over 32 million more light years than the second most powerful empire. The most recent Galactic Map data shows that we have subjugated over 45% of the galaxy. Many warriors from the old and dying empires have joined us, to avoid being eaten along with the rest. We hunger to establish indefinite supremacy over all the inferior sentient species...
We have also been #1 on the AltMeta for over 3 years running. The Empire grows more powerful with each passing day as new conquests are won, and more warriors join us in our inevitable rise to rule the galaxy! The Kzinti are a species of bipedal space-faring feline predators, who love nothing more than conquest and battle. Created by sci-fi writer Larry Niven, the Kzinti have had many stories written about them, most notably in the Man-Kzin Wars series of books. They have also shown up in the Star Trek universe, and a number of other realities.
"Kzinti flesh has a very strong and pungent taste. The weak among us are devoured by their litter-mates within a few moons of birthing. Only the swiftest and most ferocious of us survive to their first naming-day. Those not fit to survive will never live to perpetuate their inferior bloodlines. This is the natural law of the galaxy." - Kzinti Warrior
"The meaning of life is the hot blood of your prey on your tongue, the meat that rends beneath your teeth, the corpse of your enemy left in the sun for the carrion eaters to finish, your defeated foe groveling in submission before you. That is what life is. We are the Kzinti, and we stronger, swifter, wiser, and more ferocious than any other race ever was or will be." - Kzinti philosopher
If your claws can grasp it, then it is rightfully yours. - Kzinti proverbA salute to all those heroic t'kzintar who have made this empire a resounding success. Our conquests continue and the galaxy will never know peace!Join the Kzinti in our quest for galactic dominance, or become our prey…

Sentient species taste better...
What's up Silver? Maybe 10 years from now they'll finally make GC3, hehe. [e digicons][/e]
SaintMina, I have very little experience playing with good, so I cant help you out much there.
not much KP, same old stuff - work and more work; back in Michigan for a while before I get to move *back* to Indiana in December lol. other than that, lots of World of Warcraft, Starcraft II, and soon Diablo III.And there's only thing that needs to be said SaintMina: "So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb. "
haha, hi Neilo. Yeah - I got to go to BlizzCon in Anaheim, CA (was a total blast) back in October and being the Blizzard fanboy that I am, signed up for the WoW Annual Pass - I mean sure it was a year long commitment to WoW, but I got a free D3 out of it so 'shrug'.as long as im having fun playing, its all that matters.
I never did bother with WoW. I am looking to get SWTOR though. I've been messing with SC2 a little, played a bit of league, but just prefer to mess about with friends. Waiting not so patiently for Diablo II though.....
You can wait for Diablo II all you want...I'm waiting for Diablo III. [e digicons]^_^[/e]
I've been playing Lord of the Rings Online, and will be getting Civ V soon.
Good to see the master still commanding from his throne, Kzin! Time for me to get back in...before Diablo addiction takes over, of course... [e digicons]B)[/e]
--Scanian
Hey Scanian! Always good to see another familiar face around here.
Well Diablo III was a fun side track for me - I still randomly hear: "By all that is holy, do you SEE that creature over there?!", "GLORIOUS!" and "Pick it up, pick it up!" {Templar and Covetous, what great characters} in my head from time to time.Picked up Civ 5 (and the expansion) which has been quite fun {Greeks and Austria ftw}Still lots of WoW, waiting patiently for the next expansion. And then...a teaser from Frogboy - "but it is not the end." Gal Civ III in the works? If so, you better brush up on your Klingon KP, for a galaxy will lay before us ready for great songs and the drinking of blood wine
Hey SB!I didn't take Brads words to literal....just fanning the flames i think...Damn the Templar and his random comments......."A worthy opponent!"
And with that the Confederation might be back... If anyone even remembers it for that matter ><
I havent tried Diablo III yet, but I have been playing Civ 5. The new expansion added in religion, which had been a big hole in the game, compared to Civ IV. It still needs some improvement, but it's getting there.
@KP, Start saving your money for Total War Rome II. How far will you go for Rome?
They say it will come out in 2013 if the world doesn't end after the movie "The Hobbit" comes out in Dec 2012???
[e digicons]:moo:[/e]
I think Civ 5 is cool with new expansion but Total War Shogun II is where the action is. For me normal is too easy even with DarthMod so now I am playing hard games for the challenge and the fun.
We are looking for players to join to become aggressive Admirals to lead your fleets across the Galaxy!
Empress Saint Mina of Ophelia VII of Order of the Bloody Rose of Orders Militant of Adepta Sororitas
I'll definitely be getting Rome II. The first one was really good, but then I was disappointed by Empire Total War.
@Kp Empire was ok but Total War: Shogun II is better [e digicons][/e] well until Total War: Rome II. I hope you can have thousands of men on the battle field. Hee Hee
Here is a Facebook Link and Rally Point You will have to srcoll down to see the screen shots and the trailer.
I just can't wait.
Ahoy! Tis been a long time since I last stopped by this thread.
Hey Seth
It has been along time since anybody has???
What have you been doing? I am waiting for "The Hobbit", Company of Heroes 2 and Total War: Rome II.
A long time indeed Seth! What have you been up to?
Hey KP or anyone else; I have a question:I'd like to fire up some GCII in my free time here, but a new computer and two new OS's later, I don't have GCII installed anywhere anymore. Now, this used to be an easy fix cuz I would just fire up Impulse and download it. But isn't Impulse gone now? Anyone know how I can go about downloading the game again? Thanks!~Silver
update: figured it out; just went to Stardock.com and logged in LOL; they have a tab for "My Downloads" and it was listed right there.
Hey Silver! It's still easy to re-download old games you already bought, so I'm glad Stardock made sure of that.
I recently downloaded Fallen Enchantress, but I havent had much time to look at it. The original Elemental was so bad that I'm having trouble approaching FE with anything but hardened skepticism.
I've played a handful of games recently, not for score, but just for fun. Huge or Gigantic abundant maps with everything but influence or conquest victory turned off, and foregoing any of the exploitative tactics that have been used for scoring in the past. I played until it was obvious I was going to win, then stopped. The cleanup part at the end of the game becomes too tedious to play til the end.
Good fun!
I guess I should do the same but then focusing on military victories that I haven't sufficiently pursued in the past. It's often fun to revisit a game after a few years... and notice that you still know the workings [e digicons][/e]
so true, I remember back in the days when I started GalCiv2 playing straight just to win against the AI in different setups was the most enjoyable period here - esp. some of the campaigns and also those campaigns you can upload (some are pretty hard to do actually)
however it's really sad that the game has so many "holes" which you can exploit and which become obviously clear if one just plays alot - patterns will emerge.
that said, I'd like to reinstall the game for some midsized maps but in the meanwhile I've become an ardent MMO player (currently deep in TERA) and these games consume alot of time I can tell, lots of geargrinding to do )) but it' a hell of fun, too xD
Prost!
btw what's up with the char- or guildpics in the MV, don't show up anymore...?
edit:
currently installing the game was watching some Youtube and forgot how enchanting some of these soundtracks were (spacethemes) !!
