I am seeing a bunch of hit and miss posts about issues that people are having. However, it is impossible for the web programmers to find the reports in this fashion. Though Cordelia can relay the messages, she can't actually fix the issues (as can none of us expect the web team).
So, please post your issues here. *BUT*, when you do, make sure that you are giving every detail possible. A "this site is acting odd" report will get us nowhere. Post when, where, and how the problem occurred. Also let us know what browser you are using and if you have already tried cleaning your cookies. Reproducible issues are easiest to track (with info on how to reproduce them) so, please try to reproduce the issue prior to reporting it.
Please remember that the more info you provide, the more likely it can be fixed.
I started a new joeuser blog here: http://soviet-overlords.joeuser.com/
So far I posted two articles, both in politics. However they are shown as "In Science & Tech" when I view them.
I tried editing them, and when I do I see that it shows them as being in Politics section. But when I look in the forums themselves they are instead in the science and tech forum.

When I try to post a comment on my own threads I get a trouble box that tells me that my comment couldn't be posted please try later. If I enter the thread through the forums, it will take the post. I am wondering if this is causing a problem for others trying to post comments. How do I or you fix this?
I have the same problem as Big Fat Daddy as well!
The search functions do not seem to work in IE 8 (this includes the tag search). The tag search returns 0 results, and the normal article search gives a standard page that says "Egads!" and something about code-writing pigeons, no real error message.
I just edited one of your articles and changed it to Politics and it worked fine, both on the blog and the forums. Could you try your other article and let me know if it works?
Please try again and see if it happens. I was unable to recreate this. If it happens again, please link me.
Bara
How is it for you now?
it works now, thank you.
I have another problem... formatting does not work correctly. I make line spacing and paragraphes, and they are arbitrarily shortened remove or otherwise altered. As if there is a white space removing mechanism in place.
You must have scared the gremlins off...it works ok now...thanks.
This search issue has been resolved. Thanks Bara.

This link to the top ten sites shows just a page with the letters "asdef" written on it, which I assume means that the person responsible for the page is right-handed.
("asdef" is also one of the top three reasons for Windows server reboots, statistically.)
Slow as molasses today & when it eventually shows up, the Politics section shows nothing under Active Posts.
I have recently been forced to "upgrade" to Google Chrome. When I come into JU on Chrome, I have a vertical slide bar which works just fine but there is no horizontal slide bar so I am not able to move the screen to access the "Recent Articles" prompt and anything else that is on that side of the page. There must be some magic that can untangle this but being the illiterate I am, I can't figure it out. Can you help?
One bug that has been irritating me is that the edit function does not work in IE 8. When the button is clicked, nothing happens. If you click again it pops up a message saying something along the lines of "you already have a request in progress" but nothing ever happens.
The edit function works perfectly in Firefox.
My blog posts are an unreadable mess due to new lines being automatically deleted.
EX: http://soviet-overlords.joeuser.com/article/364524/Opposing_obamacare_is_not_opposing_reform
All the new lines I made were ignored and squished together, and I tried editing it and even double new lining it, and it still ignores it and squishes it all together.
Over the past say 3 weeks, initial page loading is very slow, 8-12 seconds, no matter what rig I use (all using FF3.5). Similar delays when navigating to another page or article after a period of inactivity.
I think it's the fault of IE8. Mine had other problems as well. I uninstalled it and went back to 7.
Is there a way to mark a thread as "not interested"?
Sometimes I post one or two replies to a thread and then leave and because of that the thread still shows up in the "My Replies" list although I never want to to look at it again.
google chrome's spell checker can mark misspelled words in the quick reply, but right clicking it to get a drop down of correction doesn't work for some reason. (it does anywhere else).

Formatting is messed up in Firefox.
Why is my avatar only appearing on ID's post "Only in the Obama White House", but not on older posts? After 5+ years, I finally got one that would load. I'd like to see it up.+LOL+
It appears here...what gives?
Lately, even though I am logged in, I cannot post comments from the forum page. Every time I try the pop-up that says "Your comment was not submitted successfully ....Bad Auth.....comes up.
However, I do seem to be able to post comments on those blogs that I had already made a comment such as this one.
Do not know if this is fixable. But when you are already logged in, and reading a blog, and then go to comment, it would be nice if the forums did not at that time decide to log you out. More often than not, the comment is then lost.
It happened again today. I cannot post comments from the forum page
I've been trying to post a comment on Terfan1980's blog, "Should Speech really be so free?"
Every time I try the pop-up comes up that says "Your comment was not submitted successfully ....Bad Auth.
I added an avatar, it only affects new posts I make, old posts still show the default avatar empty avatar.
Could it be that a copy of the avatar is saved with the post? or just a link? that would be horrendous waste of space.
