Well, i don't usually mess with stuff once it's working, but I had occasion to check out a few settings, and when I opened my current program "Aero 11" was missing from my WindowBlinds 11 configuration page replaced by some Microsoft Default theme??? What the f**k! Ya turn your back for a moment and all hell breaks loose!
Now I wouldn't mind that so much except the "Aero 11" theme is not listed at all and that really pissed me off. and since the Style and research functions still leave much to be desired I was not a happy camper. Now mind you I still have "Aero 11" at the desktop, but I am concerned about having to do any kind of reinstall (hate that term). They only utility I added a few months back was "AutoDark Mode" and everybody was getting along just fine.
I was basically shocked to see Aero 11 had disappeared from my list of "Styles?" Since I don't have an hour to scroll through hundreds of themes, I found and downloaded from "wincustomize.com". I see folks had done this download, then couldn't figure out how to install into WindowBlinds. I see it's a ZIP, so my only question would be what folder to drop the extract into?
Why bigger question is why the entry went away from the Style page in the first place, some Microsoft update? I have no immediate emergency as the program is still running Aero 11, but did WindowBlinds, or Microsoft make a change? Someone, or something made a change...was it a WindowBlinds update not respecting previous customer settings? Inquiring minds want to know.

Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, first, Just a quick reminder to keep our language respectful and appropriate for all readers. We want to make sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable here. If you could kindly avoid using vulgar terms in future posts, that’d be much appreciated.
Now on to your issue. Not sure why a theme suddenly don't get listed in your system.
First, have you try looking at your Theme folder and see if Aero 11 still appear in there: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds. If it does still there, try the rebuild list command. Refer to my screenshot below. Try these first and report back.
Thank you,Basj,Stardock Community Assistant.
Well Basj
It has happened before and again last night. I was posting a reply and the system shut down, cut me off, obviously something went south. Post lost. Wanted to thank you for considering my terms which compared to the stuff I see my grand kids using on TikTok, WeChat, X, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram mild, but might offend a few. Sometimes my frustration gets the best of me because I dislike so much being a "beta" tester without pay for some of these software companies. Especially Microsoft, who still pushes down updates even when you ask them not to. Yes it's true we don't own 70% of the software we have, just a license to use, so I guess these companies can do whatever they please.
At this point I don't know what caused Aero11's Style icon to be removed from the WindowBlinds Style setup page. I took the time to search, finally found and then reinstall Aero11 from within WindowBlinds. The first thing I tried was the "rebuild command", which didn't work. The Aero11 folder with 1,510 items and the Areo11 rev10 folder with 3 items where still in their original folders. Some "pointer" in the WindowBlinds program was damaged, or deleted, so the program couldn't find the "executable". I've taken to "write protecting" stuff on my system I don't want changed without my knowledge. When a program cries uncle I can see if I want it to have it's way. I finally got Windows10 to my Gold Standard, since I upgraded from Windows7 in February. I don't care what any body says, I won't be upgrading to Windows11 anytime soon. I may invest in Windows 10 extended support, Extended Security Updates (ESU). I stayed with Windows7 for 16 years, ya think I'm going to jump to Windows11, haven't seen a good enough reason yet! The main reason is all the really fancy stuff you want to do on your computer is not done through the OS. That's why there are sites like GitHub!
I only noticed because I wanted to change a setting and found I had no access to the theme. Maybe SimplexDesigns can let me know the single file that needs protecting, or I'll find out the hard way, by "right protecting" all the files in the folder until an update comes along.
Thanks again.
So the theme folder Aero11 still there and the "Rebuild list" don't work, yes? Not really sure what happened in your system.
I tested it, copy the Aero11 over to my desktop. Delete Aero11 from my WB list. Aero11 no longer listed. Copy back the Aero11 folder into WB theme directory. Do the "Rebuild list", It added the Aero11 theme back to my full list.
Perhaps, Support or Dev have more idea on it. I have forwarded your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience. Thank you.

18 years on Windows 7 and still counting. This actual installation of 7 dates to Jan, 2016. Since MS stopped supporting it I have had one unwanted reboot and 1 BSOD [both I suspect due to VMWare which I use to amongst other things run 10 as Teams, Steam and Discord no longer like 7].
MS doesn't support 7 so they no longer alter my system without consent. I leave real protection to 0patch.
I will never adopt 11 as I am fundamentally opposed to the extortionist demands from MS to replace hardware that doesn't suit their ends and increase irresponsible land-fill with otherwise perfectly viable hardware.
Re the use of language it's all about context.
When talking about your favourite football team losing the finals you can call them effing idiots, etc, however when on the forums requesting assistance from Support team members you need to temper the frustration level out of respect....
Jafo,
Hello again. Your comments reminded so much of what Chris Rock said during one of his routines, "They ain't never gonna cure cancer, because there's no money in the 'cure', only in the 'come back!" I recently spent a week in a hospital. I felt like a piece of meat every body wanted a piece of me! The worst part was I couldn't get a strait answer out of anyone. I was a cash cow! The same with these big software company's. They need us to keep buying year after year after year! Oh you will need a new computer, a new hard drive and better monitor, new DVD or it won't work anymore. They'd go out of business if they only sold you one every 5 years. And watch out for the "fan people" saying you need to upgrade, why you running that ancient OS. You going to get a virus. HA! With the security software out there I haven't had a virus in more than 10 years. And I'm for sure not going to trust my OS to protect me from the stuff on the net.
When I worked for Digital Equipment, then Compaq Computers, then HP, I remember walking into this CEO's office and behind him on a table was an original IBM pc with 5" floppies, he saw me looking and said, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" LOL! I grew up with Radio Shack's TRS-80's. To this day, I run a TRS-Dos Basic emulator under Windows10 on which I run a 50 page basic language Budget Management program I wrote. Still works just fine. I remember when I had to abandon WinXP, I left behind a lot of Space Sims which I love, but I soon found ways to run them in Windows7&10. Most people don't get it. It's not the OS, it's all the little folks writing the utilities that keep things running. The "Trash80" still has a very active support community. So the conversation went something like this. Oh, Ted you need to get this new $500.00 operation system we have. Really? Yes, but you will also need this new $5000.00 workstation to run it on!
Sorry to hear about your hospital experience...and glad you survived.
