Hello,
I recently upgraded to the latest version of windows 11 and windows blinds/object desktop. I am running Fences, Start 11v2 and windows blinds. I noticed that certain apps would open for a second or pop up in the task bar but instantly crash because of my theme/skin applied by windows blinds. I had this issue also on windows 10 so I think it is more widespread.
I play division 2 and when I try to launch Ubisoft connect because division 2 doesn't work without Ubisoft connect, the Ubisoft app instantly crashes and does not launch. I have to manually unload the skin and go back to my default windows 11 skin for the app to work. This has became a headache, if it does not work I might as well uninstall windows blinds.
Anyone got a fix for this issue? Please help
Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, please make sure you have the most recent version, Windowblinds 11.06 or 11.07 Beta. Make sure to reboot after the install. If you already have the latest version, please report back with few more details.
Thank you,Basj,Stardock Community Assistant.
What apps are crashing for you?
I had the same problem with Ubisoft Connect. I excluded all of the Ubisoft exe's and it solved the problem.

We have addressed the ubisoft connect issue in the next WB update so exclusion will not be needed.
sorry about the late reply. I am on beta windows blinds 11.07
1. Win 11 version 24H2 OS Build 26.100.4946
2. Happens with all the themes even the built in ones
3. Ubisoft is the main one, sometimes steam and EA apps. It also happens with Black ops 3 game when I try to play online or zombies, the game crashes instantly when I open.
It also happens sometimes with Steam app, EA app and an older game black ops 3. I still play zombies and whenever I launch black ops 3, it instantly crashes exactly like Ubisoft.
From what I know, WB 11.07 beta, which currently available to all, was released back in August 8th. Refer to https://forums.stardock.com/537970/get;3975863. I believe you should wait for a newer version which probably be release soon.
Thank you,
