I'm using new Fences 6 in Windows 11, both standard versions. Computer is laptop with HD screen resolution. Problem is that if a fence is opened with icon view the caption under the icon shows in type face too large to view unless it is short enough to fit in a single very short line.
I've not been able to change the type size to give me more characters for the caption. Is there a way to do this?

Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more details.
Thank you,Basj,Stardock Community Assistant.
Running Windows 11 Pro, version 24H2, build number 26100.4061
Problem occurred with Fences 6.0 and 6.0 beta. Also still occurs after upgrade to 6.1 although after upgrade version number again shows as 6.0.
Hi imagexideas, please try the option "Fix desktop icon spacing" from Troubleshooting and log off / log on? Hoping that helps.
Thanks for the suggestion, but it made no difference. Type size is still too large.
If you open the Cloud Atlas folder in Windows Explorer with the same icon view, does the spacing look the same?
If I use large icon view in Explorer, the icons are larger than in Fences with wider spacing, but the captions are about the same type size so they fit well under the icons.
If I use medium icon view, the icons are similar size with similar spacing (maybe a bit smaller). The caption text is perhaps a bit smaller.
In both cases the vertical spacing allows for four lines of captions under each icon, enough to handle all captions in the folder but with caption words broken as needed.
I am trying to reproduce your issue on my system. Need to know few more things
Thank you,

Computer is laptop with 15 inch screen, 1920x1080 resolution, display set at 100 percent.
Problem is with both portal fences and normal fences.
portal fence on left, normal fence on right
