A useful addition to Start11 v2 would be an option to increase the size of the TaskBar area that can be used to 'View Desktop'. The default area at the far right of the Windows 11 TaskBar is tiny, far too small an area (far too thin) to reliably click on. Is this possible?
Hello,I have forwarded your request to the Stardock Support Team for their review and recommendations. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We really do appreciate your feedback, Thanks

That skinny “Show Desktop” strip is easy to miss, so a wider click target makes sense. Start11 v2 doesn’t expose a setting for it yet, but the dev team watches threads like this when sizing up new options—your idea helps bump it up the list.
Until then, two low-effort work-arounds might spare some mis-clicks:
Pin a “Show Desktop” shortcut to the taskbar (explorer.exe shell:::{3080F90D-D7AD-11D9-BD98-0000947B0257}).

If you lean on desktop organization, Peek in Fences 6 lets you pop your Fence groups over open apps via a taskbar button or hot corner—no window shuffle required.
What would feel most natural to you—a beefier strip, a hot corner, or a taskbar button? And for anyone else reading: any clever tricks you use to reach the desktop without hunting that corner? I personally avoid 'show desktop' as I don't like having to clean up the layout of my active windows afterwards. I am in love with Fences 6 Peek for this reason.
I've created a Taskbar shortcut for now but looking forward to you, hopefully, putting the capability into Start11v2. For me it's preferably to have user definable 'Hot Corner'.
'ALT+D' or 'Windows Key+,' does it as well in Windows 11 but a hot corner seems easier, quicker and simpler to remember.
