I am using Start11 2.51
I remove an item from the start menu using "remove from this list" and a few minutes later it reappears.

2) Also, please tell us which Start11 menu style you are using.
Windows info in screen grab below, and my Start 11 menu style is "modern style."
Which Substyle do you have selected?
I'm not seeing "remove from this list" in any of the context menus for Modern Style.
Maybe you could post a screenshot of what you are seeing.
I'm using the sub-style Modern Style.

It looks like you have "Show my most used applications after my pinned shortcuts" turned on. If that is the case, when you select "Remove from this list," after you open that same app again a few times, it will appear again in the list.
