Please place requested change into the queue. Looking for functionality to personalize grouping of pinned Taskbar items to assist in decluttering the taskbar. For example, I'd like to make a Microsoft Group on the taskbar; when selected, it would open a second level taskbar over that group showing the Microsoft applications of my choosing (Outlook, Word, etc.).
Ability to group like pinned applications (photo editing, office productivity, etc.) would be perfect.

I believe this function already available in Start11v2 Start panel. Have you tried setting up your Start panel to have those Groups you mentioned above?

I have not as you mentioned Start panel, I'm looking to modify the Taskbar; thus, thought it would be under the Taskbar settings. Will take a look, but it doesn't sound right.
If you are talking about Toolbars on the Taskbar in Windows 10, that is no longer available in Windows 11. The closest you are going to get is Taskbar folder menus in Start11v2.
If you have any examples of it configured to behave as I am envisioning, please do share. I looked at the Start Menu and I see the 'Configure Menu' option, not quite it. Here is an example of what I'm envisioning... thank you!
From what I read, it didn't appear to be the solution, will give it a try...
I thought about trying to utilize the pin function... I'd have to create an category folder and then place the executables within the folder, for me, that is a rudimentary work-around... thanks
Not quite the same, but did successfully \\ 1) Create a folder \\ 2) give it the desired folder icon \\ 3) placed shortcuts to all desired Microsoft Office Products \\ 4) pinned it using Start 11...
This work around is manageable and it appears I could do the same with fences... thanks
