When I play sins I tend to play zoomed out - and this makes all ships to be icons instead of 3d icons. This makes me miss out on the amazing graphics. In order to see 3d ships - I have to zoom way too close to have any kind of strategic awareness. I know it's not the case for most people as I have a 30 inch screen - and I can't really benefit from more visibility.
I would like to propose a few things.
1. Set the icon vs 3d model zoom switch distance configurable - for each ship type - titan, capital ship, corvette etc.
2. Scale (similar to UI scale) the titans and capital ships as you zoom out. Come up with some prioritization system based on number of ships and type. They are important and should be more visible. I think an oversized capital ship would look great - and as you zoom in you scale it back to comparable size.
Basically if I have high end hardware - I would like to see more pretty things

Yes, it's very frustrating that you can't see all these beautiful ships because of the 3d icons and scale, sometimes the ship turns into a 3d icon just coming out of the middle of the screen, I don't understand it at all
Hi Ramma, getting back into the game - I love what you guys have done in 1.43 - amazing stuff. Battles look absolutely spectacular now - and balance wise things definetely moving in a very good direction.
But I still can't see those pretty ships from far away - can you please follow up on this? In sins 1 we had a parameter that controlled this. I am sure you have internal settings with this - can you give us a way to play with them? P.S.
Ragnarov Titan Scatter shot needs a more visible effect - similar to how you changed KOL to be beam. It's a major ability - I need to see it "do" stuff.And just a thought - the snipe ability or the rail gun - have it leave a trail - similar to air (I know no air in space) - but some indication that it happened - again - it's a major ability.
