Well, it's that time of year when there are a plethora of Best & Worst lists everywhere!
On the top of my Best list is Start11v2 version 2.5 with the vertical taskbar. Stardock has once again outdone itself. And at the top of my Worst list is Microsoft Recall.
What's on your Best & Worst lists for 2024?

Worst? Toss up between CrowdStrike (turning the meaning of security into bricking your computer), 23 and Me (your genetic info up for grabs if the company bankrupts) and MS Recall (turning your computer into an expensive Benedict Arnold).
Best? CRISPR genetic surgery...repairing the mutation causing Sickle Cell disease, which causes terrible suffering.
The good for me is I no longer will have forced windows 10 updates that reboot my system at any notice and A really cool mail app I recently found called Mailbird (replaced the crappy outlook app that Microsoft is forcing on users over Windows mail).
Id say 2 things that are bad for 2024 are Windows 11 recall and on the android side of things, Samsung not having RCS support come January. I love the categories feature of the messaging app and google messages is not it. Google having a monopoly over the RCS messaging put a sour taste in my mouth and I cant quit commit to switching to that app. I consider it a downgrade without categories.
The best:
The SD team that rescued WC from oblivion. You guys and girls are simply the best.
The worst:
The extreme polarization of our fellow Americans and their loss of trust and belief in each other and America.
Very prominent in Canada lately, as well.
Worst of 24 was the bike crash that took out my right Clavicle and right Tibia. Put me out of action for quite a while.
Best of 24 was the Morphine patches and a few doses of Endone ... that followed ...
There's an evil pot hole somewhere in Oz, chuckling maliciously.
