Hi I'm having a problem removing the label(think thats what it's called) around the start button. In the picture it's the silver square ,the black is the start button. The start button is a Hotspot. Not sure if they always are. It is detached from the taskbar which is hidden

I should add that I have achieved this in one theme but in a copy of the same theme I can't do it .Not sure how I did it.
I have compared the .wst file between the two (all 513 lines) trying to spot the difference but there was none, unless I missed it.
Assuming you have access to and know how to use Adobe Ps, here's how to do it.
Start buttons are .png images, so you don't have to select. You'll have to experiment a bit in assigning the value for the number of pixels to defringe. Here's a great teacher, Colin Smith showing the "how to's" using three methods.

Sorry what do you mean by " you don't have to select". the button image is 41 x 41 px

I should have also said this is in winstep
Defringinging has to do with image manipulation only...you can then use the resultant image depending on size limitations by the program you're using the image in.
I would suggest you pm Picco14 with your question since he skins Winstep.
