Hi,
I have pinned few folders menu on my taskbar and some others in the start menu. I find the possibility to dig into folders very useful BUT when I click /double click on the chosen folder ther is no way to open it. I have to right click and choose from the menu to open the folder. This is very unconveninet for me as I use this function quite often.
Would it be possible to "upgrade" the folder functionaly and open it when clicking (or at least double clicking) on the chosen one? I say "chosen" because I dive into the folder tree before chose the folder to open.
Many thanks
AS
Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, if you use Pin Folder menu, you should able to right click on a selected file or folder and choose open. If its a folder it will open in File Explorer.
Thank you.Basj,Stardock Community Assistant.
Hi basj, yes I wrote I can right-click to open a folder. That's not what I was asking. I am asking to consider to add the functionality to open a folder inside the folder tree with a (double) left click. This would be much more convenient.
Please consider to add this functionality.
Thank you for your consideration.
Hello,I have forwarded your request to the Stardock Support Team for their review and recommendations. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We really do appreciate your feedback, Thanks

Back in April of this year I suggested this feature. "In Start11v2, if you set a pined folder to "Open as folder menu," there needs to be an easier way to access a folder within this Folder Menu. As it is now, you have to right-click the folder and then select "Open." If there was a way to allow a double-click or a modifier key+click to open a folder within a Folder menu, that would be an awesome improvement."

Neil Banfield, the lead developer replied "Double click might be tricky as single click opens already, but a modifier might be possible."
So far there hasn't been any more information on implementation of this feature.
Thanks for suggesting this feature, as I would also really like to see it implemented.
This feature has been added to the Start11v2 Beta 2.09.
Added feature: holding down the SHIFT key when clicking on a popup menu will open that in Explorer when clicked rather than opening the submenu

EDIT: This works on the Start Menu "Open folder as a menu" and on the taskbar pinned folder menus.
further request, other then SHIFT would it be possible to add DOUBLE CLICK or MIDDLE mouse click?
Furthermore, would it be possible to open a file manager other than Explorer? I use OneCommander, although set as default file manager Star11 opens always Exporer.
Thank you.
