It seems I am getting more and more Ai images under new content.......and I don't like them at all!
My urgent feature request: in the settings, to be able to choose and opt out of certain content, like adult content, AI content, fantasy content.......or more.
Yes, AI is all the rage now at WinCustomize, however, some of them are actually very good!
It would be very difficult to provide an "opt out" feature as all the artists would have to add the appropriate tags to their work. This would be arbitrary and totally at the discretion of the artist, and as so, not very reliable. Stardock could hire someone to "Sensor" the artwork and add tags, but I don't see much chance of that happening.
My suggestion would be to only download the walls which bring you joy, and ignore the rest.
I can understand how you feel Lori. I have mixed feelings about AI, but at the same time, like pelaird stated, some of these AI images are just so creative and interesting and thought provocative, and expressive, it's just a lot of fun to explore and test and try out and everything! You can just focus on those that aren't AI, and you also have the option to find wallpaper on other sites that focus on real photography, with real cameras with real lenses!
Just about every program - in fact, every program used to improve image quality uses AI one way or another, 3java3.
I was never interested in AI until my Theme collection out grew my own wallpaper collection (which was large to start with). Some Themes did not have the right wallpapers to maximize there impact for me, so i had no choice but to try and make my own, now i am All In 100%.
AI is managing to encroach into a lot of the things we do, with more to come, i do think Pelaird is right, some AI can be very good, and the implementing of what you ask would be almost impossible (almost still leaves some scope) but each to their own. I respect your opinion as AI Images are not for everyone, and i wish you all the best luck in avoiding those things you do not like.
