Screenshots and videos are very helpful. Videos can be uploaded to a cloud drive service (GoogleDrive, DropBox, OneDrive, YouTube), with a shared link included in your post. Images can be copied and pasted directly into a post.
If there are specific apps that the app does not work (well) with, please note what apps and their exact versions. If any app is not common, a link to a trial version would be appreciated.
Thank you for your interest and any time you put into making Start11 v2 a better product.

My menu looks rather ridiculous . Any way to git rid of the "Suggested" section?
This happens with the Windows 10 style.
Kind regards, Peter
Got it, Just a left click.
For anyone that does a manual update and is (incorrectly) seeing there is an update, please try again in 30 min. Post the results here after with either outcome, you are told there is one or not.
Thanks for the post and patience.

Thank you, problem solved on my 4 computers, no more asking for new update!!!!!
Regards.
Same here. Thankfully I never went ahead with a purge/reinstall of Start11 like was suggested!
It started with a notifications, but I also get it when I do a manual check
Manual updates are fixed for me now. It now says my Start11 copy is up to date.
Manual updates are working correctly now.
All,

As always, thanks for you time, feedback, and support.
As I upgraded to Start11V2 recently, I don't know if next 'fault' only is happening in version 2.07. It is not a bug, just a report of minor language thing:Two expressions are not translated in the Dutch (NL) translation file:Right Click on taskbar: "Autohide taskbar" and "Task Manager".Putting extra strings in this file:C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Start11\lan\nl.lng"Autohide taskbar"="Taakbalk automatisch verbergen""Task Manager"="Taakbeheer"will cure the 'fault'.Please correction, because otherwise I would have to change the language file after every time an update is installed.
We would most appreciate any help you can provide here:

If you have any questions about it, I would be happy to work with you on it.
Not sure if this issue is already reported and being fixed yet...
Exact Windows Version: Windows 11 Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.3155)Start11 Version: 2.07
Problem/Steps to reproduce: Pin certain items to Start11 via the context menu and then try to click those apps from Start 11. They won't open.
Apps affected:
- OBS Studio (3rd party)- Snipping Tool (built-in Windows utility)- "Classic" Teams (Microsoft app)
- OBS Studio issue:
When I pin OBS Studio (shortcut or the executable) to Start11, I see this message:
followed by this message:
This worked fine in Windows 10 and Start10.
- Snipping Tool issue:
When I pin Windows' Snipping Tool utility to Start 11, the first problem is that the icon is not correct; it shows the generic Windows 11 folder icon instead:
This worked fine in Windows 10 and Start10 for Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch.
- Classic Teams issue:
When I pin Microsoft Teams classic to Start11, and then click on it, it loads this command line window, which then closes (and nothing else happens):
Teams classic worked fine in Windows 10 and Start10.
---
Given that this issue occurs for multiple apps, but not all of them (and across a variety of apps, such as built-in Windows features, 3rd party apps, and 2nd party/Microsoft apps), it seems like a change in the way Start11 handles calling/loading these applications rather than issues with the specific applications or with Windows 11.
I don't have OBS Studio or Teams, but I was able to pin Snipping Tool two different ways and they both worked as expected.
1) Context menu
and also Pin to Start11 from the All Apps list.
If I had to guess, the install of Start11 is corrupted. Try uninstall, reboot, reinstall from a fresh download, reboot.
Windows 1 Pro - 22635.3575; Start11v2 - 2.08
You're on a beta version of Start11, v2.08, so it's possible they have fixed it since v2.07. For example, I don't believe that context menu option exists in v2.07--when I right-click a blank space in Start11 v2.07 I only see the "Configure Start11" option, nothing else.
This has been a feature since 2.05. You have to right click in an existing Group or Tab. As I said, your install is probably corrupted.
Which menu style are you using?
As I have not the slightest idea how to manage that, I will leave it at this point and bring the changes in the language file on my system every time an update is presented.
Or accept the fact that those phrases are not translated.
