ICONS in the Start menu have a black background behind them.
yeah, that's what I discovered in reply 21. It seems that cleaning the icon cache didn't work when I tried it above. In any event, thanks guys for the active and quick attention to my questions. That's great customer service!
Is there anyone else having this issue? It happens to my laptop and my handheld Windows 11 PC, both of which are docked and undocked throughout the day. The issue rears its head (I believe) when there are resolution changes from dock/undocking. Going through various threads, I found this one. It fixes the issue until it pops back up again. IF it's an OS issue, it's strange that the issue doesn't seem to affect any other icons, other than the Start11 transparencies. Is there something I can do to mitigate the problem during an undocking/docking or something?
Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. Have you tried to restart Explorer.exe and see if that help? I don't see this issue on my system. But, restart explorer.exe did help me a lot of time when I see strange things happen to my system. Here is a link on how to do quick Explorer.exe restart. I personally use the batch file method and save it on my desktop for quick click.
