With the Start11 v2.05 (was 2.04) beta release today, we are creating this thread so that users can report any observed issues.

If there are specific apps that the app does not work (well) with, please note what apps and their exact versions. If any app is not common, a link to a trial version would be appreciated.

The new feature this enables is the import of settings on login (or explorer restart). I still can't make it work if the Taskbar is centered.
And If I use the default Start Button is even worse..
I am at Windows 23H2 OS Build 22631.2861, laptop docked with multiple monitors, enhanced taskbar activated, most of the issues are here since the 2.9 version.
-Every time I boot up I have to restart windows explorer from the task manager, the taskbars remain blank at the original Win11 size
- Impossible to pin items on the secondary taskbars and primary taskbar, option at All Displays is not working, only Primary or Secondary.
- The new option to open the start menu on the screen where the cursor is works fine. But with right click (open the Win+X menu) it opens on the primary monitor, whereas it works well with the normal Windows 11 taskbar

If you remove the PC from the docking station, reboot, do you see this issue? If not, and then you connect to the docking station, is the issue then present or no, its fine?

The problem appears when I start or restart the laptop docked with the multiple monitors, then most of the time I have to restart windows explorer.
If I just start the laptop, there is a slight delay, it starts with the fat Win11 taskbar but then almost immediately after, the Start11 takes over. If I then dock the laptop, Start11 taskbar remains ok. Hope that helps.
Any idea about the rest of the issues?
Confirmed fixed. Now I can use enhanced taskbar since w11's version is ugly and doesn't always name the buttons properly.
Any word on a "Forget desktop" option for pages? Even if I delete a page when I recreate it, it remains assigned to the desktop I set it at.

Unfortunately it is not reproducible here. Autohide works as expected with or without any windows open.
Taskbar Flickering After 'Win+Tab' Usage on Windows 11
The flickering issue can only be resolved by restarting the computer. However, accessing Task View and then exiting it causes the problem to reappear.
What? Does anyone at your company not have a multiple monitor setup?
I consider this issue with the taskbar buttons getting garbled every time I click on the start menu while the taskbar being centered troubling to say the least.
You SHOULD take your full time on fixing these things. I paid for the original Start11 and then I paid again for the Start11v2 only to find a program that is half working.
We are using our PC's all day long. Do you have any idea how tiresome is, having to restart the Explorer every time the Taskbar gets corrupted?.
You cannot provide software that people is paying for it to then ignore what people is complaining about. Can someone please answer me on what should I do with my taskabar?.
You've marked the "center taskbar" with autohide as Experimental and yet, this is the DEFAULT behavior of Windows 11 if this program weren't installed and the whole issue I'm having is that the taskbar wants to align the buttons to the left and it is corrupting the Start Button and the first button after the Start. It shouldn't be THAT hard to fix it somehow seeing as I can partially fix it by applying a custom Start Image. Yet, I still get corruption in the form of a line.Either fix it or tell me WHERE should I look to fix it. Or at least, give me a reply if you are taking a look at this case. You should have a ticket system where we can report issues that you can actually follow up. It's very very annoying and it generates a lot of frustration to have to read about tons of forum posts only to see that no developer ever answers to you.
Creating PinMenu items on the taskbar seems ineffective now.
I have auto-hide enabled(bottom), and when trying to create the icon, the taskbar briefly appears... but there's no new icon. I tried browsing a folder on my desktop, I tried using one of those pre-selected filtered folders. I tried turning off auto-hide, restarting explorer and rebooting.
The PinMenu program still seems to work when invoked manually, but Start11 doesn't want to make an icon for it since updating to this beta?

1. Enhancement: PIn folder menus are excellent but they are missing one feature. Right now you can only place shortcuts to standard apps. If it is doable, it would be great if we can pin windows store apps to the pinned folder. For example, I want to have a pinned folder called games so I don't clutter my taskbar with game stuff when I'm working, but I can't pin my laptops game performance tool (omen) in that folder.
2. (issue?): I have the (show betas) option enabled on object desktop and currently have 2.03 installed, but neither obejct desktop nor the check for updates in Start V2 itself show 2.0.4

Hello,I can not reproduce your issue on my system. Please post a video showing us your issue so we understand your issue. Refer to the video I made below. This was made with older Start11 v2 version, but I tested with V2.04 and I get the same result as what shown in this video.
You don't seem to allow video attachments, so here's a GIF...

Please try this, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately after uninstall finished. Re-download the latest version again, reinstall using it. Reboot again immediately after installation finish. Retest and report back.
