Why o why can I not upgrade from my PAID Start 11 (1.47) to Start 11 V2 ? I have to pay again for a few small visual tweaks ! Crazy
I've installed V2 on top of 1.47 and now have to run it as trial. BUT can I still source / revert back to the older version that I bought.
I already like more the Windows 11 pro popup menu.. than the 1.47 option.. Ahhhh not right to have to buy a new version of a paid app

It is way more than a few visual tweaks.
Paying for major new versions of software is not a new concept. Stardock have worked like this for at least 2 decades. Some companies like Adobe moved from this business model to subscription only where you basically rent the software so no fees for upgrades but you have to keep paying to use the software.
