If there are specific apps that the app does not work (well) with, please note what apps and their exact versions. If any app is not common, a link to a trial version would be appreciated.

After downloading what I thought was a new Start11v2Beta (10/27+), I actually ended up installing the last Start11(V1) = 1.47. After a reboot, everything is again working, clean and stable. I'm going to stand pat with that until S11v2-Beta++ is far more stable and has far fewer problems.
I want to use "Windows Pro Style", and also have a shortcut to Universal Applications. Can anyone help me to add a shortcut of Universal Applications to the Shortcut List?

Opening the Control Panel as a menu from the shortcut list now works, but the first entry is as follows.

You didn't add my issue, you have been ignoring it since I reported it in v1.27.

If you create configuration backup, and then make additional changes to your setup and attempt to re-save over writing the previous save file, Star11 crashes. I've been able to repeat this several times but would like someone else to test.
Really hoping they add the Windows 8 start screen sometime soon. Like legit start screen, not the win 10/11 in full screen. I want my picture on the right side, along with the all programs, I want my desktop thumbnail. They used to have a program for it, but its not updated.
Changing Start Menu styles sometimes requires more than one click to make it stick.Has anyone else noticed that?
I'm using Modern Style for my Start Menu style.The scrollbar is very wide and a different color to the rest of the Start Menu.Is it possible to make the scrollbar less obtrusive?

I love having the ability to [hide user name and icon] in [Windows pro style] however when this option is applied the right hand side list vanishes pretty high up near the power button.
edit- The option [hide search bar unless searching] applied in [Windows pro style] also slightly moves up the right hand side's vanishing list point. It is harder to notice
Great work by the way. I think most things have been addressed. The narrowed right hand menu option looks perfect to me.
edit 2 - I just now realized that the feature "set icon" to custom folders was added in the shortcut list. It is working great with png files I have tested it with. This will be a game changer for me while using Windows 10 / 11 mode as I can now differentiate folders better

I installed the new Start11 v2 beta 1 as an administrator and I am unable to get the Universal Applications to show up correctly in the right side of the Start Menu. When I click on Universal Applications, the side menu just shows <Access denied>. This is with any of the Windows 7 or Modern Style Start Menu options in Start11 v2 beta 1. I uninstalled Start 11 v2 Beta 1 and restarted my computer and then reinstalled it as an administrator and I still see <Access denied> for some reason. It was working fine when using Start 11 v1.47. Please see the screenshots below for the aforementioned issue and for the build version of Windows 11 Pro that I am using.
***UPDATE***
I just installed the 2.0.0.1 version that came out on 10/27 and it's now showing all of the Universal Applications. The <Access denied> is gone and that solved the issue I reported above. You can ignore what I reported above.
This has been fixed in the 2.0.0.1 beta that is available in your downloads.
Would it be possible to add support for changing the row count for an entire group instead of each tab in the group?
Also adding mouse resizing for groups would make it a lot easier than using a nested menu item.
Hi, testing the v2, congrats for the work ! working pretty good for now, except maybe one or two things, like, by mistake i created two steam folder, and impossible to delete the second one.
but i was asking myself if it was possible to have full sized icons ? since the beginning, the icons in start11 are not big, but like this, but in the v2 when clicking on it, the icons appears "big". is it possible to have the icons "always" of that size ?

If you rename a tab to a single letter or two letters, it doesn't work -- it displays the tab number within the group.
(Can confirm that adding an application form a sub-folder now works, and renaming an icon works.)
I have just installed V2 over the latest release of v1 and when I look in the settings menu/taskbar it informs me in red that the Taskbar is being managed by another program. The only program that modified the Taskbar settings was the old v1 that had just been written over. The new version does not seem to be able to pick that up!
I tried to reinstall v1 to remove this setting but that just screwed up all the settings in v1 so now I have performed a restore from a system image and v1 is back to normal.
I will wait a while while you get some of these bugs sorted before I try again!!!
All popup menus and fonts should be skinnable via windowblinds before you guys release the final build of this. Fonts being locked to just black or white is meh. Prevents creativity to the menu looks in terms of style. Hopefully you take that into consideration.

Flyout menus popup in the wrong location when taskbar is at top and there are enough entries to need more than 1 column.Happens for both folder menus in the start menu and pinned folder menus in the taskbar.
Just posting a note that we are seeing all the feedback over the weekend and appreciate the bug report - if you havent already, make sure to install the latest beta, you can find it under downloads in your account and a beta button is next to your license key.
I don't see a 2.01 beta when I go to downloads is the beta download actually the latest and not 1.47?
