1.47 (Binaries 1.4.7.2)
Stardock release: 07/24/2023
Steam release: 07/24/2023
Fixes issue with right-click on network / audio icons far right of the Win11 taskbar not working right if you use experimental center mode
Fixed issue with right-click close window on open task manager when using Enhanced Taskbar in Win11
Fixed issue with Virtual Desktops popup not showing shifted when in experimental center mode.
1.47 (Binaries 1.4.7.1)
Resolved issue with Close window showing instead of Close All Windows/On this monitor when right-clicking on the taskbar buttons when in sometimes combine mode on Win11.
Added registry key for forcing Close All Windows to show on Win11. It is ForceCloseAllAlways in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8
Small adjustment to how the start menu closes due to a report of it being clickable when closed. Could not repro internally
Resolved issue with being unable to scroll the calendar in Win11 and not being able to use touch on some popups from the taskbar
Updated how Win key and ctrl+escape are handled for later versions of Win11 based on customer feedback
Tweak to line showing on taskbar when Start11 is not handling the taskbar on Win11
Fixes issue with Winkey hotkeys sometimes triggering the Start11 menu in error. More likely with longer key sequences.
Fixes issue with autohide potentially causing issues with taskbar contents positioning when on touch laptops
Added support for a string registry value ShowAllNonUWAOnTaskbar in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8. When set to "1" it will show all non universal windows on the taskbar even when using virtual desktops regardless of the desktop they are on.
Known issues
While we appreciate all feedback, please remember that we offer no official support for beta \ preview \ developer channel versions of Windows. If you report issues while in any of those early release channels, you should not expect them to be addressed unless it still exists in a retail version of Windows.
***Reserved***
The tray icon bug I reported earlier is still there and also the peek preview for taskview is left aligned instead of center above the button
ShowAllNonUWAOnTaskbar
Very good to have now.
Partially works. The Windows settings dialog (invoked by Win+i) doesn't play well with the ShowAllNonUWAOnTaskbar.
EDIT:"will show all non universal windows on the taskbar"That explains the Windows settings dialog problem.
As a first step the new behavior is not bad, but OWA should be in the game as well.
two questions, i updated using the object desktop utility to 1.47 beta but it keeps asking me to update even after rebooting, is that normal? i had that previously happen with another beta release awhile ago, and just waited a week or two for the next release and then it "stuck".
secondly, think it'll ever be possible to have two-row system tray icons again or will that never be possible post 2H11 update?thanks!
There are some outstanding issues with how ODM reads what version is installed and what is available. Please use your account page as the authority for what is more current with all releases and betas:

Hi,
Issue reported on 1.46 still persisting on beta 1.47Report: https://forums.stardock.com/521121/get;3896157 (reply #54).
All,
The beta has been updated to 1.4.7.1 (UI will still read 1.47). Please see the changelog:
https://forums.stardock.com/521165/get;3895454
As always, thank you for the time and feedback.
The tray still flashes when buttons are removed (see video above) in centered mode.
Not helping by making this post, but just wanted to say THANKS for restoring the Ctrl+Esc functionality. I gave a sigh of relief when it started working again!
Pleased to hear it and thanks for the feedback.
Hoping this gets fixed soon

Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information on your system.
ThanksBasj,Stardock Community Assistant.
Microsoft Windows Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.1992)
Start11 version 1.47
Windows Blinds 11.02
Appears on all themes (atleast all of them I tried)
No
If you set Windowblinds to use Default Theme by Microsoft, does the issue goes away?
Thank you,
Basj,Stardock Community Assistant
Hi. I just need START11 for 1 function: put the taskbar at top. But with the taskbar up, the start menu appears as if the taskbar were down.
Hello,
I am not able to reproduce this. Can you give your Windows version (winver.exe) and what version of S11 you are running. Also do you have any similar programs installed?

I have 1.47 beta installed on 2 win 11 pro machines. One of them has an issue where when I right click the buttons on the taskbar, nothing happens. Strangely the other one is configured identically but doesn't have the issue.
I am not sure if this is Start11 or win 11 since I'm running Dev branch which you mentioned isn't supported. Just mentioning in case anyone else has it.
Thanks
Edit: The issue went away after I uninstalled Start11. Not sure if this makes it a legitimate issue. I still can't explain why my 2nd machine didn't have the issue with the same Start 11 configuration. The only difference in terms of Stardock software was the problem machine had Windows blinds and Curtains, but uninstalling them didn't remove the issue, only uninstalling Start 11 removed it. I kept the settings so hopefully it will go away on reinstall.
Edit 2: Reinstall resolved the issue. Not sure if it is the new version, but at least I can live with my favorite software again. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
And another "ugly" effect, is when I log in the taskbar appears at the bottom, and after a while it is moved to the top. it's right?
Thats normal if you have an on top taskbar. The OS has to load it up first in the right place before it gets moved.
Ah ok thanks. But I try startallbak, and it doesn't happen. That's why I asked
This is normal. The Win11 menu isn't designed to reposition at the top of the screen.
My problem using the Start11 menu (like windows 11 style) that sometimes (I don't know exactly why) one menu or another appears or overlaps, making the system look erratic and unstable. I think it is a quick combination of the Windows key with the start button click.
If I use Windows native it doesn't happen, but it's offset. Luckily in the last preview builds it is centered below, but in previous builds it went to the left side
