Windows 11 taskbar sucks. I hoped for years Start11 could make it better. Instead it is the most frustrating experience Ive ever had. I have a non standard monitor setup where I have 3 monitors. The two edge monitors are in Portrait mode. All I want is the right monitor to have the Taskbar located at the top. Why is this so shockingly painful after years of doing just fine in Windows 10?
Half the time the app starts hidden behind the Start11 Taskbar which I then have to move the Taskbar back down to the bottom to have access to the window controls. Then at some point in the future it puts the windows back behind the taskbar. SO FRUSTRATING. It makes me hate MS even more.
Does anyone have any ideas other than reinstall WIndowes10?
Not so silly...
If and when Microsoft stops messing with the plumbing in 11 then just maybe Start 11 won't be chasing their tails.
An actual "Final" OS is needed first...
As far as I know, Start11 supports 2 monitors at most.
Technically Im only using Start11 on one monitor, lol.
The frustrating part is that it does all work some of the time. Then all of a sudden the windows start populating behind start11 again.
Are you using anything else which might alter the taskbar or reserve monitor space?
Not that Im aware. That right hand monitor is also set to to be the main display as seems mandatory. That also messes things up like MSFS2020.
