Windows 11 resets some sliders set to show particular app icons in the system tray. The traditional method of ticking "show all icons" does not work as Windows 11 seems to reset certain system tray icons, at random? Does Start 11 offer any solution to this problem as I get fed up enabling app icons every time I start Windows 11?
Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. I don't think Start11 can control what get hidden and what get shown on the taskbar tray. However, to be sure, I have forwarded your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

It would also be prudent to install the trial for Start11 and see if it is going to meet your needs

Thanks for the suggestion but I have been a user of your products for several years, including Start 11.
Start11 does not alter the tray behaviour.
Maybe it should judging by the number of people asking about problems showing all tray icons with Windows 11 - a missed business opportunity?
Microsoft changed how the tray is rendered in moments 2 update. You have to manually tick each icon you want to show or manually drag each one out of the tray. Stardock has no tool to alter the way the tray renders. Each major update adds in new limitations to the os that start11 or wb11 can touch. So you either live with these limitations, downgrade back to windows 10, or jump to a different operating system not plagued by crippling forced updates.
