Triple 1440p monitors, Win11.
I like to show text for open apps in the taskbar, but I also want to have the start button centred. This worked before the Windows update (and a few Start11 versions ago).
Now I can have the labels and start button on the left OR no labels and a centred button. I know the option to centre the start button shows "as experimental" in the settings, but it would be great if that ability returned.
Unfortunately due to OS changes that centre option is currently limited to 2 or less monitors. We continue to investigate workarounds for this.
Please 2 requests again in Windows 10 style:
1) Drag icon from start menu to desktop
2) Ability to change the default size of pinned icons. No matter what I select within the configuration options, it always pins 'Medium'
Using the latest 1.4.3_j303 release and another patch from MS all of my taskbar icons are clipped and can't see them completely.

I have option to allow Start11 to enhance turned on, and I unlocked and expanded to two rows. Size is set to medium, but the issue is the same on any option I choose for the size.
I cannot reproduce your issue on my system, I'd suggest uninstalling S11, reboot, and reinstall from a fresh download (almost make sure you are not running any other similar products)

After upgrade to this beta version when I push the Win Key it opens the Windows 11 menu, not Start 11 as before. If I click over the icon them opens Start11. I tried some things without solve it:
Are there any solution or is it a bug?Thank you for the support.
It is not recommended to use Microsoft internal builds. I would strongly recommend unless you have actual need to revert back to release builds when possible.
That said 1.43 was updated to resolve this.
I deactivated my current installation, uninstalled and told it to remove everything including settings, rebooted. Installed using the latest 1.4.3_j303build posted here. So far so good. I entered my license key and reactivated, opened the settings. I set the first tab to "Windows 10 style" for the start menu, "Use Start11 Start Menu" option is enabled. Next I clicked on Taskbar on the left side, I enabled the option for "Let Start11 enhance the taskbar" and "Toolbar buttons should be combined..." to "NEVER" option. This is what my screen looks like:
Single screen setup, 3840x12160(recommended) resolution, scaling is set to 150%,. in the windows settings under scaling, (recommended) is next to 250% which just makes everything on my screen huge and unusable, I have tried setting it to 175% 125%, and there is little change, but at this point it's worse than before I re-installed.

edit: I do not now, nor have I ever had any similar products installed, this is a fresh copy of windows that was just installed in the last 3-4 weeks.
Is this a tablet PC?
Do you have an option in Windows to enable the touch optimized taskbar and if so is this enabled?
Not a tablet not a touchscreen.
It seems windows thinks differently as you have the touch option showing which isn't an option unless you have touch support?
What exactly is your machine?

Thats very odd as you appear to have the OS thinking you do have the touch taskbar as an option which has put the taskbar in a different mode. Start11 is then confused as it knows you shouldn't have that as an option so isn't compensating for the strange touch taskbar.
End result you have the OS showing you options you shouldn't have and Start11 having a misaligned taskbar.
That's fantastic, what can I do about it?
When exiting a full screen app, often times the taskbar gets reset to the wrong color (blue). It gets set to the correct color again after switching windows around.
Also I'm still experincing the bug where programs aren't added to the task bar initially. This happens very frequently when launching Steam. I posted about this before and here's an example video showing the issue.

Hi
Ever since the windows 11 taskbar update a few weeks ago, ive been having this issue with the notification panel appearing on the left side of the screen whilst using start11 enhanced taskbar option.
I originally had this problem with 1.41. I have since tested 1.42beta and now 1.43beta. The problem continues to exist.
I did raise this issue on the forum a few weeks ago when i first noticed it happening. But the issue was dismissed based on the idea that start11 doesnt affect the notification panel. However after further tests im certain start11 is causing this issue.
Prior to the windows 11 taskbar update i never used the enhanced taskbar option in start11. The only reason i use it now is because its the only way to make the taskbar size smaller since the windows 11 update. Im not sure if the taskbar size being set to small has anything to do it the problem. All i know is the problem only occurs when enhanced taskbar is enabled, and if i disable enhanced taskbar then the problem is fixed and doesnt return unless i re-enable enhanced taskbar again.
Ive tried googling the problem and struggle to find anything about what causes the notification panel to appear on the left side of the screen, until recently. I found another person who has the exact same problem as me, except he is using a different piece of software called StartAllBack which i beleive does a similar job as start11 does. Here is a link the the post with the problem on that software just to show it does exist https://www.elevenforum.com/t/change-windows-11-notification-panel-position.5821/
Id love to see the problem be fixed or atleast acknowledged because it bugs the hell out of me.
That should have been fixed in 1.43 (and has for most), I suggest uninstalling S11, reboot, and reinstall the 1.43 beta
I am currently using 1.43 however i updated from 1.42. I will uninstall and reinstall to see if that works though. Thanks
