Screenshots and videos are very helpful. Videos can be uploaded to a cloud drive service (GoogleDrive, DropBox, OneDrive, YouTube), with a shared link included in your post. Images can be copied and pasted directly into a post.
If there are specific apps that the app does not work (well) with, please note what apps and their exact versions. If any app is not common, a link to a trial version would be appreciated.
Thank you for your interest and any time you put into making Fences a better product.

Unfortunately changing the screen scaling did not make any difference. I turned it down to 200%, and then to 150%, but no improvement. Of course that would not have been a practical solution as it would have rendered the laptop unusable as everything is too small to see! Normally I would uninstall and reinstall the ap, but of course I did that to solve another problem and that's what led us here.
Thanks for helping!
Edd
Here is a link to a video illustrating my problem. You'll see me trying to drag the scroll bars but the only thing that happens is sometimes they zip to the bottom and stay there. Also you'll see that when I hover over them the scroll bars illuminate and fill the entire height of the window - in the past they would only illuminate a portion of it, in order to show that more items were available above and/or below to scroll to. I also demonstrate that when I click on the icon of an item in the Fence and then scroll up or down using the arrow keys on the keyboard, it scrolls just fine through all the items in that Fence. Apologies if this doesn't work - have never recorded my desktop before...

I somehow, cannot download the video. Ask for some ID that I don't have. Maybe need to set to public.
Thank you,

Sorry about that. I couldn't seem to make it completely password-free, so I instead gave it the password Fences1 so try that.
Thanks!
Sorry, I can't get to your personnel Fences key. I don't have that authority to check it..
I'm not sure what you mean by that. We were just talking about the video I made illustrating the problem. The password is just to access the video and see the problem as it happens.
Oh, I see it now your password was actually "Fences1". I was thinking your literal Fences1 keys. I am downloading the video now.
I've watched your video, unfortunately, I can not reproduce your issue on my 4K monitor even turning the scaling up to 300%, the scroll bars appear properly and it can be click and drag normally. Refer screenshot below.
I believe, it best to purge it and reinstall fresh, try these steps : [Link]. Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
Purge is a little different than those normal uninstall. It suppose to remove all traces of Fences from your system. So you can install again, fresh, as if Fences never installed before. Only your backup snapshots will be save.
Thank you,Basj,Stardock Community Assistant.
I'll give that a try. Thanks!
I have tried a new installation of Fences on a new installation of Windows 11, so basically almost a new computer, and the problem still exists. How can I be the only user who can't scroll their Fences? This is truly bizarre. Hope you guys roll out a fix soon...
That actually tell you something very specific to your system. Not sure if you have tried cleanboot if not please try: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#cleanboot and/or Test it on Sandbox : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#sandbox
Try those and report back.
I'm having a similar issue with the eddthebrit.
I can scroll through the Fence with the mouse wheel, but not with the scroll bar, which appears white when the mouse hovers over it.
This is happening on a fresh installed Windows 10 and Fence 4.

Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try cleanboot : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#cleanboot and/or Test it on Sandbox : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#sandbox
Basj,Stardock Community Assistant.
The same issue still occurs in both Cleanboot and Sandbox.
Not surprising, since I already mentioned that I did a clean install of Windows.
Great, so it is something else. Both of you using touch capable system? And share information on your mouse type, brand etc.
No touch and my mouse is a Logitech G703.

Okay just to confirm, both of you on Fences V4.12? And Windows 11? Need its full version numbers. Use Winver.exe

I've forwarded your issue to Support and Dev has came back and mentioned the issue is resolved and its should be available on next update release. Hopefully soon. We appreciate all your report, feedback and patience.
Fences V4.12 on Windows 10 21H2 (19044.3086).
Because Windows 11 is "not supported" on my PC.
There is a known issue with Fences and manually using scrolls bars that has a fix in the pipe.
Thanks.

Best wishes,
Hi, would it be possible to hide the label on Folder Portals when navigation is disabled? It keeps showing up on mouseover even if I have labels set to Never.
Hello,
I believe, that is not possible.
ThanksBasj,Stardock Community Assistant.
I know it’s currently not possible, but is it something that can be fixed in a future release? I noticed this request has been made several times in the past but was never addressed.
