Indeed it is still there, but that extra mouse click to get there gets *really* annoying quickly.
无法通过右键单击桌面上的[配置桌面分区]来打开围栏。
同样,单击“围栏”图标也不会打开“围栏”。
4.10.06, Win10 22H2 专业版.
请尽快修复,谢谢。

Fences not working after update as far as opening settings. The Fences themselves are fine. The one time I was able to open setting I got this and after it was dismissed I can't open settings again or make any adjustments such as opacity. I also posted in installation problems. Win 11 Pro OS build 22621.1413 22H2
This version worked for me with no problem.
New problem here. Object Desktop shows Fences needs updating even though I've now updated and rebooted twice. The new version 4.10.6 is successfully installed - it's just that Object Desktop updater hasn't registered the fact.
It is possible to get rid of the portal folder icon? It looks ugly and I don't see any option to disable it.
And maybe this is wired, but portals fences are more responsive than normal fences.
As a rule, always use your account page as the standard for what version is current:

There is some work needed for ODM to account for all conditions and we will be looking at it soon.
Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks Sean. Just to clarify I upgraded using ODM, the correct version 4.10.6 was installed successfully but doesn't seem to be setting the current installed version data to 4.10.6 - ODM still thinks a previous version is installed (or is getting confused that 4.10 is less than 4.9) so is currently flagging that an upgrade is available.
Not a big issue and thanks for letting me known ODM needs some work.
On object desktop for fences, it shows "update" to latest version. I click this, download and install -- then it asks for reboot, which I do. But I never get the new version. The menu still shows "update" and the version has changed. Fences is running while I hit update, fyi.

The account shows version 4.10.06 as latest. I download and install that. Then I restart the computer. The installed version of fences still only reports version "4.10". I can install the new version over and over -- no change. I guess I can uninstalling it next.
Update: In the windows apps, it lists Fences as version 4.1.06 -- I guess it was updated. Strange that the desktop app keeps suggesting to update it, and that the installer keeps on updating it.
The software cannot be opened

Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, have you done what suggested in your own thread here: https://forums.stardock.com/517835 ?
Basj,Stardock Community Assistant.
Sorry, I forgot to reset when uninstalling. It's all right now, but there are other issues. The menu is in English, but the content is in Chinese. I am a Chinese system
Give this a try:
My icon spacing is broken and the most recent update messed up the size and spacing of my windows. Unfortunately I didn't look at my PC for 4 days so when I came back I couldn't revert to the previous setup. Winver: 22H2 Windows 11
My Icon Spacing is set to 6 pixels and I can't seem to fix this. I have to scroll on each of these windows and still need to reset the shape of the windows as well.

I have the same problem after the new Fences update 4.10.06.
I updated it again using "Fences4_4.1.1.0-j110-Setup.exe" but no good, UI not starting with right click on desktop, it start from the Start menu with no problem, clicking on "Lock Fences" to unlock not working also, thus I can’t create or modify any fence.
I'm on Windows 11 22H2 OS Build 23424.1000 and using 2 monitors.

Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. Did you change the default Windows 11 Context menu to Windows 10 type Context menu?
Yes, I ‘m using the old style from day one after upgrading to 11. Now I deleted the reg entry “{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}” to show the new 11 style, restart, and Fences back again to work!!
Thank you for your help.
