Known issues
While we appreciate all feedback, please remember that we offer no official support for beta \ preview \ developer channel versions of Windows. If you report issues while in any of those early release channels, you should not expect them to be addressed unless it still exists in a retail version of Windows.

As one of the ones who posted issues about .36, I wanted to say, that at first glance, .39 seems more stable and solves my issues, though I won't touch any of the options for a few days! thanks, stardock team.
After updating to the latest version, the clock is positioned incorrectly on the secondary display. It's fine on the main display.
If you restart Windows Explorer, is it still positioned incorrectly?
Are you using monitor management software like Display Fusion?
Are you using ANY other software designed specifically to modify how the taskbar behaves?
Sean DrohanStardock Product Lifecycle Manager
Restarting explorer just not resolve the issue. I'm Not using any display management software. And I'm only using stardock to modify the taskbar.
my two issues remain - the UAC one where prompts sent to the taskbar cannot be clicked, nor can anything else on the taskbar, until you alt-tab to the prompt and accept/deny it AS WELL AS the one where bringing up the default Start menu via the optional icon pinned to Start11 Start and then clicking the windows button causes the Start11 menu to attempt to come up, but it just spazes out for a while as you click, eventually the default start will slide down and the Start11 menu will come up.

Hello, I am still experiencing some overlap in the system tray icons. At least for this combination of settings of the taskbar and so on.
Thanks, Michele

Ops, sorry Paul ...
Like in previous versions, there is a couple minor issues in v1.39 when doing a search in the Start11 Windows 10 style or Windows 11 style start menu. These don't occur with the regular start menu (Start11's start menu turned off). Here is a video that demonstrates both issues below in the Start11 Windows 10 style start menu on Windows 11.
1) On my Windows 11 laptop only, after clicking the Start button, and typing the characters of my search, the cursor doesn't catch up with the end of the text I'm typing. It lags further and further behind.
2) On both Win 10 and Win 11, searching for components of the Windows Security app doesn't find them. Try searching for "Reputation-based protection" or "Exploit protection". You can search on "security" to find the whole Windows Security app, though.
In the meantime, I have Start11's search turned off. Also, since I've reported this several times already, I'll make this the last time for posterity.OS Build info (the most current this time):1) Windows 11 Home 22H2 Build 22621.1194
2) Windows 10 Home 22H2 Build 19045.2546
I just updated to Start11 Version 1.39 on my PC running Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621. 1105. I am using the Windows 7 Style menu with the Windows 7 Style substyle. When I right-click on the Start Menu, any item in the Start Menu, or the Taskbar, the context menu displays with a black background. I first encountered this and reported it with Version 1.36.
My guess is that Start11 is now picking the background color based on the Default Windows Mode setting found in Settings > Personalization > Colors. As has been the case for some time, I have the overall Color Mode set to Custom and the Default Windows Mode set to Dark. For some reason, Microsoft requires those settings to enable the option to turn on Show Accent Color on Start and Taskbar. With those settings and Default App Mode set to Light, no other context menus show up with a black background.
I’d like to see Start11 display context menus for Start Menu items the way they were prior to Version 1.36, and as they were in Start 10, Start 8, and Windows 7 itself.
If the intent is to make a dark background an option, ideally it should be a configuration setting in Start11. Alternatively, if it is to be based on the Windows Personalization settings, it should only be put into effect if the overall Color Mode is set to Dark or the Default App Mode is set to Dark.
After updating Start 11 to version 1.39 (Windows 11 Pro 22H2 OS Build 22621.1194) the transparency of Start menu is not changeable. I use Windows 10 style of start menu.
The settings of transparent are the same for start menu and taskbar and is equal 11%.
And another problem is that when I use enhanced taskbar with centered star button the widget icon is going to center from the left position.
Hi, this morning I turned on my laptop with start11 and on the second monitor I had an overlapping of the start icon and the clock like this, the same issue of #5. Rebooting or restarting explorer does nothing.
and my main monitor is showing correct content
The second monitor is aligned to the left and the clock should be on the right. I am using from days version 1.39. I also suffer of the random problem of the crowding in the sys tray (especially when opening skype).
I don't have the "better taskbar" enabled but this resolve partially the issue, like if I enabled it, it does nothing, if I move it to the top and then again to the bottom it shows it correctly. However, if I right click to the second monitor start it shows the menu of chrome, I think because it's the first icon from the left.
One more thing, I also noticed that the bar is refreshed correctly if I enable/disable or viceversa the settings of the bar in Windows, with the settings of "show the badge", "show the bar on all the screens" and "show the apps on multiple screens".
On Windows (ver 22H2 build 22621.1194) the last updates I did are these (sorry it is in Italian but there are the KB codes)
If you need the settings of start11 I don't know how to export them, you need to tell me how to do it.

Yeah, I read it, I wanted to write the complete behavior with more information possible
After updating having this issue that clock moves to left side of taskbar, only happens on non-primary monitors
There is some sort of issue with DisplayFusion Pro (9.9) and the taskbar management.
When using Start11 on Windows 11 (Pro Build 22621) , DisplayFusion's secondary task bar (task bar on a second monitor) appears on top of the bottom of fully maximized windows. This mean's that windows are maximizing to the full size of the screen, ignoring the presence of the existing task bar.
This issue isn't new to 1.39, though I tried 1.39 to see if it fixes the issue, which it does not.
I am also seeing that the clock is positioned incorrectly on the secondary display. It's fine on the main display.
My primary display is 3840 x 2160, secondary display: 1920 x 1200
How can I download previous version? This update is very buggy
Have you turned off the transparency option in the OS or are you using a WindowBlinds skin? I have checked here and with transparency enabled in the OS and no WB skin in use the menu correctly adjusts transparency on Windows 11.
The second issue is normal for Start11 when in enhanced taskbar mode. The widget icon will always be centred when in centre mode in that setup. This is not new in 1.39 and has been the case since we supported centre mode with Start11 enhanced taskbar.
Michele
What is putting the C and D on the left of your taskbar?
It looks like you have enabled an option to have larger taskbar buttons?
You need to open the Start 11 settings and set the taskbar button size to medium.
