If there are specific apps that the app does not work (well) with, please note what apps and their exact versions. A link to a trial version would be appreciated if any app is not common.
Thank you for your interest and any time you put into making Start11 a better product.
Ok ... The issue is also there if you enable the two row taskbar ...
Not a huge deal, but I just installed 1.38 and in the about dialog it shows 1.39. But everything else is working fine so far!
Hello,
I would like to make a suggestion to the program, I see that it is very cool but I notice that something is missing, in my opinion what some competing programs have is the option to configure the browser.
For example, being able to have in Windows 11 the possibility of having the Windows 10 explorer menu, which was much more friendly. In addition to being able to have the classic options menu where all the options are handled without the need to load them as an option. And additionally, something that I find annoying is that when having several windows open in Windows 11, when right-clicking, the "close window" option does not appear, on the contrary, it loads the "close all windows" option, which is bad because to close one window you must load the one you want to close and go to the x button at the top.
I am attaching screenshots of what another program allows to do and that it would seem great if you incorporated this improvement, since your program is great and very good.
Other Program Explorer Options:
Windows 11 Explorer
Windows 10 Explorer
Options menu windows 11
Options menu windows 10
Conclusion, it is how practical it was to work with those options, with Windows 11 that became tedious.
noticed it is 1.39 now?
Its an error on our part, it should be 1.38, but the 1.38 CL notes are the same for 1.39.

Search issues I reported earlier are still there: https://forums.stardock.com/513541/page/1/#3858494
Edited by admin to include missing context
Like in v1.24, I've run into a couple minor issues in v1.25 when doing a search in the Start11 Windows 10 style or Windows 11 style start menu. These don't occur with the regular start menu (Start11's start menu turned off). Here is a video that demonstrates both issues below in the Start11 Windows 10 style start menu on Windows 11.
1) On my Windows 11 laptop only, after clicking the Start button, and typing the characters of my search, the cursor doesn't catch up with the end of the text I'm typing. It lags further and further behind.
2) On both Win 10 and Win 11, searching for components of the Windows Security app doesn't find them. Try searching for "Reputation-based protection" or "Exploit protection". You can search on "security" to find the whole Windows Security app, though.OS Build info:1) Windows 11 Home 22H2 Build 22621.232
2) Windows 10 Home 21H2 Build 19044.1862
Ino you don’t support insider builds but taskbar does look better even thou the blur option is greyed out and the message not fully supported on prerelease version of win 11 is present
still happens on the latest beta (1.38)
looks like language bar is hovering over the systray.
I have not had a reoccurrence of the system tray icons merging since installing 1.38
1.38 - same problem
System icons have been fixed for me in 1.38.
Could you provide more context, please, screenshots perhaps?
What's been tried (namely, an SFC scan) already would help as well. SFC scans might not seem logical at 1st but it fixes more than just the obvious.
Just a reminder that this still sucks.

What's the problem?
Since I have not had this issue since going to 1.39, what Start11 settings would you like to know about, and I can provide them. I did not do anything other than install version 1.39
If you look closely, you will see that there is an icon behind the network icon.

I think you may have misread. I was confirming that my issue has been fixed.
Thank you.
For me, the issue still exists. SFC Scan found some issues and fixed them. But it didn't help ...
All,
Start11 1.39 was released today.
https://forums.stardock.com/516823/start11-139-release-issue-report-thread
In 'Known Issues' it details:
-That we still need more information regarding systray icon crowding
-Why anyone with beta 1.38 installed will not automatically be prompted to update to 1.39.
Please take time to review each.
Thank you all for the feedback here.
