Start11 1.36 - BUG - Auto-Hide taskbar doesn't "rise up" until mouse pointer is over (hidden) content.
Win 11 22H2 22621.963
Normally, when you move the mouse pointer to the bottom edge of the screen, the always-hidden taskbar slides up into view.
With Start11, the taskbar is unresponsive unless the pointer is along the extreme left or right ends of the bottom edge.
To be more precise, if the pointer hits the edge where the taskbar is unpopulated with apps, icons, or tray items, the taskbar doesn't activate. The pointer must be slid along the bottom edge of the screen, to the left or right, until it is over an object on the (invisible) taskbar. Then the taskbar performs as expected.
Window Blinds is installed, but the problem existed prior to installing it.
Windows 11 taskbar performance is correct -- hidden taskbar activates even when the pointer is over an unpopulated region.
Correction: Taskbar activation doesn't occur when pointer is over tasks or icons -- on the left, it only activates when the pointer touches the bottom edge immediately above the Start Button. On the right, it activates wherever the tray extends.
I just updated to Start11 Version 1.36 on my PC running Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.963. I am using the Windows 7 Style menu with the Windows 7 Style substyle. When I right-click on any item in the Start Menu, the context menu now displays with a black background.
My guess is that Start11 is now picking the background color based on the Default Windows Mode setting found in Settings > Personalization > Colors. As has been the case for some time, I have the overall Color Mode set to Custom and the Default Windows Mode set to Dark. For some reason, Microsoft requires those settings to enable the option to turn on Show Accent Color on Start and Taskbar. With those settings and Default App Mode set to Light, no other context menus show up with a black background.
I’d like to see Start11 display context menus for Start Menu items the way they were prior to Version 1.36, and as they were in Start 10, Start 8, and Windows 7 itself.
If the intent is to make a dark background an option, ideally it should be a configuration setting in Start11. Alternatively, if it is to be based on the Windows Personalization settings, it should only be put into effect if the overall Color Mode is set to Dark or the Default App Mode is set to Dark.
My Start11 menu is just completely not showing up anymore with this version. Windows 11 Version 22H2( OS Build 22621.963).
The other day it was inconsistently showing up, turned out to only show if I pressed the left windows key on my keyboard, but not if I clicked on the button on screen. Now it's just completely gone.
I've set all the options for showing the default Windows start with ctrl or right windows key menu to off.
2-Row Taskbar with AutoHide not working
Current hardware configuration is:
Laptop with a 2nd display (multi-display setup)
2nd display is tagged as the primary
Image below illustrates the bug: Primary display is on the Left, Laptop is on the Right. Thank you.
We only support single row for autohide mode.

Thanks for the update. Are there any plans to implement multi-row support for autohide mode please?
I have the same problem with the same version of Windows (22621.963).
Since the 1.36 update:
* although I have confirmed the option is still set, my start button is no longer being replaced by my chosen icon
* left clicking the start button opens the standard Windows11 Start Menu, though this appears to be sensitive to the specific location of my mouse, as:
* If I place my mouse closer to the bottom left corner of the button, clicking the start button cycles between the Windows 11 menu and Start11.
The only reliable way I have found to open my Start11 menu is with the left windows key.
I can provide screenshots or video of this if my description isn't adequate.
I publicated too :

I have got the program version 1.36 and the Windows 11 version 22H2 - 22621.963 and have the issue about too much icons on Takbar (for me is a bug) ...
So when i will open more than 4/5 programs then will disappear the text and shown the magnifying glass graphic only, then when i will close all programs it will disapper all and stay only the white bubble ...
Here there are the screenshots :

P.S. I reduced the icon's number on Taskbar (10 at center) and the issue solved ... but this is a bug to correct, and i cannot spread this issue to the programmers to help them to correct the software ...
I have reported the same before. My taskbar only appears anywhere left of the centre. If I try to raise it anywhere right of the centre, nothing happens. Not even on the far right where the clock is.If I need to access the right side for volume or network etc., I have to unhide the taskbar somewhere to the left of the centre and slide the cursor along the very bottom to the right. If my cursor goes above the taskbar, the taskbar hides, and I have to go back to the left to unhide it again. It is not the biggest issue in the world. Still, it does get frustrating as my muscle memory takes me anywhere to unhide it, and I do not seem to be able to train myself to automatically got the left before accessing the right.
Neil This should have been a quote rather than a standalone reply. It is in response to a post made by atc about the taskbar misbehaving.
UPDATE: A day or two ago, this problem seems to have cleared up on multiple pcs. Taskbar now responds consistently as expected.
Same here. Installed yesterday and gone fine. Today when started Windows, all icons from the right (time/date etc.) was overlaping the start menu to the left. Fixed the issue (temporally) restarting the explorer trhough Start11.
After starting other applications that use the traybar/system tray, the icons are there (I'm able to click), but the images are overlaped:
Win11 Pro, v. 22H2 (22621.963).
Sorry the bad English, thank you and congrats for the excelent job!
=====UPDATE======
It's been 5 days since the post and I guess I've found the responsible for the bug: the microphone notification (in my pic, it is the second icon from the left, overlaped by the red/white "x" icon). Everytime Windows warns me that the microphone is in use, this bug happens (even when the mic it is the only 'aditional' icon in the tray).
Nothing new since my post earlier this month. Seeing the several different issues that have surfaced, I wonder if the Stardock team can let us know, do you have a fix in the works? Can we revert to an earlier stable version (if so, how)? Some other strategy?
Reinstalling has fixed my issue. It's not a great solution, but at this point I'm just glad it's working again. Won't be able to provide any info to the devs if they're even paying attention to this to do anything about it.

Could you allow us to remove that white dividing line on the Win 11 taskbar? Since the 1.31 updates this line reappears in transparent mode, I hate this line, so here I go back to version 1.31.
EDIT: Sorry problème résolu en allant modifier les couleurs elle est disparu !!!
Sorry problem solved by going to modify the colors it disappeared !!!
Merci aussi pour le menu en noir ! Super beau !!!!
Thank you also for the menu in black! Super beautiful !!!!
Edit 2
Après un redémarrage la f* barre blanche réapparaît, je dois retourner dans les options et manipuler le contrôle du % de flou et la barre blanche disparaît.
After a restart the f* white bar reappears, I have to go back to the options and manipulate blur % control and the white bar disappears.
I've used stardock for many years to keep the windows 7 menu. This is the first issue and it's happening all the time with version 1.36. The traditional version 7 menu I've requested from stardock suddenly reverts to what looks like the search menu. A new session begins OK and then for some reason it will no long display the start menu. I tried running stardock and it's set for the windows 7 menu as always...this is the only use I have for Stardock. I can only fix this once it happens by rebooting. I have no idea what set of actions causes this but it's extremely annoying. I'm running win 11 Home version 22h2, OS build 22621.963.
Ok so this is what I expect and the 2nd image is what I get (identical to the search menu I think) when the start menu screws up. I did have the start menu in the center orientation and now I'm trying with it in the left orientation to see if that's is cause this.
Thanks just fixed it and inserted the two things that come up when I select the start menu...one of which I don't want since it's the search menu.
No fluid scrolling
I've got Start11 set up with "Windows 10 Style" start menu. Both in the programs list on the left, and the pinned tiles on the right, if I scroll with my touchpad, I can't "flick" it and have it keep scrolling and gradually slow down.
If I use the touchscreen, I can flick it, but it's far less fluid than the native Windows start menu.
I'd attach a screen capture but I don't have a screen recording tool on my one Win 11 device - I'm hoping the description is clear enough.
Win ver 22H2 (22621.963), Start11 ver 1.36.
