sorry for that I didn't realize because my memory is going to crap
HI,
I have an issue that has me stumped:
Whenever I use a custom WB skin in conjunction with Start11, the start menu becomes too large for the screen (see screenshot). So far I haven't found a way of fixing this issue.
Start11 is using the windows 7 style with the WB theme
I am currently using windows 11 version 22H2 (version 22621.819).
Installed Stardock software are WB11, Start11, Deskcapes11 and Fences.
Thanks!
Transparency issue with win 11 and WB 11 I have cmd.exe added to the per app list this happens when running a .cmd script but not if I run cmd.exe alone.

In WB11 the setting "Force non acrylic blur on later Window 10 versions (Needs reboot)" is no longer there.
Does Stardock have any plans to re-introduce this setting? Without this setting, Window Bar Titles in Windows 11 are blurred too much.

I believe non acrylic blur has been removed from the OS. Acrylic blur is the only option going forwards.
Maybe I missed a post somewhere, but I am running the latest version of WB, however, the Object Desktop launcher continues to tell me that I have an update. When I update and reboot, nothing changes. (No update of the version and Object Desktop still says Update.)

You need to delete the wb folders they're likely still on the drive in programs files or the x86 folder use search
Window blinds beta 3 is STILL overriding Start 11, 1.35. Really wish you guys would have an option in window blinds to leave start bar control to start 11 mainly adjust transparency. For me it's annoying I can't for the life of me get my start bar to look like I want it under windowblinds. So my only choices either use window blinds or start 11 because both programs are fighting for Supremacy and start 11 is losing.
May I know, what you're trying to get to? Few screenshots will help us understand what you want.
Thank you,

There is no fight.
Start11 will use the WB skin when it has taskbar buttons. This is by design. The same as if you used WB on Windows 7 (using WB10 as we do not support 7 in WB11)
For some reason no matter what web browser I use on my phone I can't upload photos but in start 11 under adjust taskbar transparency is grayed out when you use any skin other than default or at least every skin I've tried. I will admit I know hardly anything practically zero about skinning. Hell I used Windows 2000 for years the only time I got into Aesthetics was with Windows 7. I'm sure there's a way to pull out of a skin any changes to the taskbar of the task menu I just can't figure it out yet I'll have to keep on trying thank you for responding.
There is somewhat of a fight when you choose any skin but default under adjust taskbar transparency becomes greyed out and you can no longer adjust the transparency would just like to have a option in window blinds to leave taskbar settings alone if start 11 is installed I don't know if that's possible but if it's done by Design as you said then there should be a way to turn it off or at least an option to turn it off just a request my friend thank you for responding.
I believe once you apply a WB theme. The taskbar will be control by WB. To adjust Taskbar transparency you can use WB control panel.
Any info on the issues I posted on earlier in the thread?

I am sure Support and Dev read through every post in here.
If I dual boot Windows can I install window blinds and start 11 on both partitions because it's the same computer I'm thinking about dual booting between Windows 10 and Windows 11. Right now I do dual boot between Windows 7 and Windows 11 but I don't really use Windows 7 anymore since I installed 11. I never really installed Windows 10 before and my curiosity is peaked to see how much I can customize it with window blinds.
I've seen that but it doesn't always work with different skins Again I think my issues are more related to I have no idea how to skin. I'm trying to get the start bar to be clear not blurred.
Request: Can You please add info what default skins You have made compatible with the current version when posting updates? Also there only seem to be bright skin advocates at Stardock. I can't believe there is not one dark skin (I mean all darkmode and not only dark frames and otherwise bright white and gray backgrounds) coming with WindowBlinds.
And while you're at it - add an option to NOT install all the skins that comes with every update
I totally agree Jan!
Hmmm, that would fall on me with the installer. I need to think about that one but Ill log it.
