Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, I believe this is not Start11 issue, more like Start11 issue on your system. Since I do not see anybody else post this issue so far. I think it best if you create your own new thread and we will try help you from there.
ThanksBasj,Stardock Community Assistant.

Yes, I had seen your last few posts that read as such:
If you are not willing to help us diagnose why very few are seeing this, its this limitation that is hindering our ability to help.
Sandbox tests are easier than clean boot ones - what I would have asked for:
https://support.stardock.com/space/SS/1334935592/Start11+Clean+Boot
That said, either would likely tell us that something else is contributing to your issue - or not - and we can continue to look into Start11.

i did clean boot (didnt installed any sandbox apps) . didnt do nothing to resolve it.
looks like when the computer boots everything is ok, but after few minutes when icons are added / removed
and taskbar needs icons need to be resized/rendered smth gets funky.
no logs that can help ?
The Sandbox it a Windows app
When you see the systray issue, if you restart Windows Explorer, is it resolved (you can restart it from the S11 UI)?

Start11 1.35 Beta
Even though the taskbar buttons is set to never combine, and text label is set to show, it appears as shown below.
Reverting back to 1.31 fixed the issue.
We need to know if that's happening in what you posted - meaning - you have multiple instances of Firefox open there?
I appear to have the same settings you have pictured and can't seen to reproduce the issue:
If it is reproducible, you likely have some other setting that I do not.
While you would have to configure Start11 again, it might prudent to purge \ reinstall and then try this as the very 1st settings change. If it works as expected, change other things to see what is causing the conflict.
That would indicate that something is loading and messing it up - what we would have hoped that a true clean boot would have helped eliminate. Did you disable all but the essential Windows Services as directed?

Do you have a key called MinWidth in the registry here HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics ?
If so what does it say?
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics\MinWidth -285
the moment i click on "Configure Start11" the issue disappears ...
i dont even need to restart explorer.
Delete that key and restart.
I am unsure why you have a value there at all, but thats triggering the issue.
If you open up the start11 installation folder and find Start10_64.dll (thats .DLL not the exe), and right click and pick the properties option, what does it say for signing date on the digital signatures tab?
one more detail i did not mention , i'm using 144hz screen if that makes any different
Delete that key and restart.I am unsure why you have a value there at all, but thats triggering the issue.
I had the same issue and deleting this key fixed it for me. Thanks
I had the same issue with text labels not showing, and deleting that key fixed it for me as well. Thanks!!
All,
The Start11 beta has been updated to 1.36. Please see the updated changelog:
https://forums.stardock.com/515472/get;3869227
As always, thanks for the time and feedback.
smells like a fix testing now
Latest update shows v1.35 on about screen. I uninstalled/rebooted/installed/rebooted/twice
I check this setting with 1.31 and MinWidth is set to 35.
Jan, is that through ODM or from your Stardock account?

Edit: Downloaded again and installed without uninstalling - rebooted - seems to have fixed it. Sorry about that.
*MOD Note: The following post is in reference to Insider/Developer builds of Windows 11, these are not recommended for regular usage*
With the December 7 Windows 11 update (KB5021866) much of Start11 is broken. Cannot resize task bar, colors not responsive, many options not available.
This is an Insider Preview, correct?
