Folks, I've been having trouble with WB11 crashing the taskbar, repeatedly, which goes on to affect the computer until I have to reboot. I'm running Windows 11 home, version 21H2.
winver.exe tells me that I have Windows 11 version 21H2 (OS Build 22000.1098). When I check this in WB "about", it says:
Windows 11 Core 21H2 (22000.co_release.210604-1628)WindowBlinds 11.00 BETA (007 x64 - Windows 11 Edition) - 64 bit OS
The crashed taskbar only stops if I set WB back to the default theme, or if I reboot the computer.
Another thing, not sure if it's related, but I'm having problems with Fences 4.0.7.2; it disables itself when I reboot, and I have to re-enable it every time. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, but no change.
I'm hoping you folks can help?
Hello again,Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

I ran the .bat file, and got this error:The module "c:\Program Files (x86)\WindowBlineds\WBCore.exe" was loaded but the entry-port DLLUnregisterServer was not found.Make sure that "c:\Program Files (x86)\WindowBlineds\WBCore.exe" is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again.I clicked OK, then got the same error box about c:\Program Files (x86)\WindowBlineds\WBSrv.exe. After all that, it seems to have uninstalled WB but none of the others. I rebooted, and reinstalled WB; I note that it has remembered the skins I downloaded before, as well as the per-application settings. Did it do the purge properly? I have WB running, but there probably hasn't been enough time to know if it will crash.
Thanks . . .
I believe, the purge was designed not to remove your downloaded theme and some setting. Some error will pop up since the purge also design for all Windows (Win7, 8, 10 and 11) so some setting/files will be missing in some system. So, it should be fine. Report back if you still have issue.
Thank you,
