So, what is going on with Groupy? I have been hoping to see some sort of Beta addressing some of the issues which are noted in the forums, but nothing. Version 1.5 came out last October; is there a point to bringing issues up in a forum the developer isn't addressing?
I just installed Groupy on a new Win11 computer, and already windows are jumping around, resizing, and "Actionable Item" tabs popping up. I don't believe Groupy officially supports Win11 as of yet; it only notes 10, 8.1 and 7 on the webpage. Win11 was released last October.
Can we get some sort of idea if Stardock is even looking at this app before I spend another $10? When it was working, it was a very valuable tool.
Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues.
No ETA yet.

Which is shame.
I think it's working for some Windows 11 users. Doesn't look like it's abandoned, but propably not a priority yet according to this compatibility list.
Was kinda wondering the same, when I first got groupy it seemed new updates were coming out every 1-3 months, but now it's just gone silent.
Was really hoping they'd add the ability to group Excel VBA Editor again, as I work with like 5-7 Excel VBA Editor Windows a day, but since they nixed it, it's just so much harder. (Yes it used to work)
Testing TidyTabs at the moment. Works. I hate to see the value of my OD subscription shrink more and more.
Groupy is next in the queue once we have a WB11 beta out there.
Awesome! Please address "Internal Reference: ODNT-4178" conflict with Excel print dialog.
Thanks
Also fix this
If set to autogroup it'll do this if you haven't restarted your PC for a few days. I can fix it by somehow regrouping an regrouping but defeats the purpose of autogrouping
Windows 11 will officially support tabs in file explorer very soon! I dont see the point of waiting for groupy any more even though it used to work fine on windows 11.
Some of us use Groupy for more than File Explorer tabs!
As stated by Stardock:
Groupy is a powerful organizational tool for Windows that will keep information tabbed and organized. You can drag and drop multiple applications and documents together to group them into a tabbed interface for easy access and reference.
Save groups of applications together for future usage. Optionally add a New Tab button to quickly launch a new instance of the currently highlighted application.
I personally look forward to the implementation of Groupy for windows 11.
I use Groupy daily, I do not use it for File Explorer at all
