There is a lot to dive into on this update. First off is this the correct position of the taskbar tabs?
Which taskbar size are you using and which version of Windows 11?
This would be medium size on Windows 11 version 1000.22598.200.0 (yes it is an insider build)
Are you sure thats on medium as those icons look like large.
Also is that an autohide taskbar? Those can only be one line and a fixed height.
I have discovered the issue. I have a 2 in 1 laptop and have the following taskbar option.
"optimize taskbar for touch interactions when this device is used as a tablet"
When I turned this feature "off" the taskbar went back to normal. Honestly, with start 11 I probably will not use this option anyways.
Auto hide taskbar is actually fixed and working on this release with the insider build.

That is still very interesting and perhaps something we need to account for....
I'm having two problems in both 1.2 and 1.22.
My taskbars are top aligned, in case that matters, two monitors, 2560x1440 and 1920x1080, both landscape with 100% scaling. Win 11 Pro 21H2 (build 22000.613)
With the "Let Start11 enhance the taskbar" feature enabled, the taskbar on the primary monitor doesn't show clock/notification area, and when autohidden, won't auto unhide most of the time. Seems to auto unhide if the mouse is over positions where icons will be when it comes back, but not if there's empty space. These issues don't occur with the taskbar enhancement disabled.
The other is that the taskbar on the primary monitor keeps offsetting itself from the top of the screen:
Latest windows updates seem to break moving secondary monitor taskbars to top.The registry keys associated with moving taskbars (regardless of start11) don't seem to do anything anymore either.
Seems Microsoft really want to kill the taskbar.. :/
Are you seeing any issues on the primary monitor after the update was installed?
Other monitors however, did not work at all. :/
I used the registry changes as I have special needs not covered with start 11 settings (I have the taskbar on bottom on main and screen 2 but on top on 3 (due to how my screens are arranged physically)
Now however neither registry settings or the start11 menu does anything.

What exact version \ build # of Windows 11 are you running (winver.exe screenshot would work)?
We are trying to replicate this on the latest version of the dev channel but are not running into this problem. It may be related to your previous registry changes. If you can, try setting them back to default configuration, then use Start11 to move the taskbar on the secondary display.
What is this?
"Added support for ShowSecondsInSystemClock registry key that worked on Win10 for seconds on the clock. May take a short while to apply after an explorer restart"
I have it set, but it doesn't work, I don't see the seconds in the system tray. But I have taken these steps:
1. Start the Registry Editor (regedit.exe)
2. Go to the following registry branch:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
3. In the right-pane, create a DWORD (32-bit) value named ShowSecondsInSystemClock
4. Double-click ShowSecondsInSystemClock and set its data to 1
5. Exit the Registry Editor.Log off and login back in. Or restart the Explorer shell for the change to take effect.
Works for me, and no longer requires a reg edit. There is an option in settings under "taskbar" with a slider next to "show seconds on the taskbar clock" explorer will need to be restarted for it to work
This requires Win11 beta or dev channel to work (or Windows 10)
So now when i minimize a delphi app the TApplication window is shown despite being hidden and displayed in iconic form just above the start button.
I can restore or close the application with it however it shouldn't be visible at all. This does not occur on w10 only on w11

I believe the behaviour changed with this update:
I have tried to change or delete the registry keys but nothing happens. For me it looks like Windows simply ignores those entries now... :/
It could also be this one:
That i see also got installed this month.

Where can I find it? Please picture! I cannot find it in the settings (Start11_1.22-j182-Setup_sd.exe is installed).

My Windows is Windows 11 Pro v.21H2 build number: 22000.613
You are not using the dev/beta version of Windows 11 which is why the option is not available. It requires a newer version of Windows 11.
G'day, love the usability improvements, especially the extra padding settings.
Just one comment, is there any way of making it so that right-clicking a window does not "Close all windows"? For example, say there are two explorer windows open: if I right-click on one of them, make it so that I have the option of only closing that one, not all of them?
I keep wondering why those who bought a pack of 5 licenses and want to participate in testing the beta versions should beg every time for a link.
For those who are not aware: in the purchased licenses section there are no purchases of packs of 5 licenses; the only place where there is a trace of it is in the purchase history; there is the only link to download the software (and only in stable version, no beta)
It is not showing for you because your 5 pack was licensed under a different email address. I have merged the accounts and you should now be able to see the 5 pack and the link to the beta download

I'm on v1.2 (don't know if Beta, app doesn't say, check for updates says I'm on current s/w)
If I select "Let Start11 enhance the taskbar" then all pinned shortcuts and all running programs disappear. I can't find any options that work. When I click "Restart explorer", I see them appear before start11 gets involved (I think) then disappear.
