Thank you for your interest and any time you put into making Start11 a better product.
Any word as to when a patch will be released to address some of the reported bugs? I'm eagerly awaiting to install this on my Surface Pro 7, but the touchscreen bug is stopping me from being able to use it.
Thanks!
Start11 v1.16 Bug

When entering/exiting a full screen application (like a game) or when attaching/detaching a USB-C portable monitor, the taskbar changes position to about 1% away from the top of the screen and is stuck there until I use the Restart Explorer button:
This is consistently reproducible with multiple full screen applications and (separately) different USB-C ports for the external monitor.
As much as I want to use Start11 to provide the customization options, having to do this every time outweighs the benefits.
I'm seeing many of the same issues as discussed in this thread, however I'm also seeing that taskbar icons will get sticky after being clicked and will follow the mouse so the taskbar gets out of order quickly. Also, I've seen where icons will overlap each other (i.e., Firefox and Edge icons will combine into a single icon, etc.)
Aside from that, I rely on my calendar and it's a major annoyance for it not to appear when clicking the clock.
Here's an example of the overlapping/combined icons.
I only have one complaint and is that whenever I place the taskbar at the top the volume flyout still opens at the bottom of the screen :/ but overall super happy with the new update. Way more stable than previous versions .
We have modified the drag sensitivity in the next update to address this.
The plan is later this week.
We have addressed the bulk of the reported issues but want to make sure we have the issue some people have experienced with the taskbar going to the top of the screen resolved too.

Thank you for the update. I'm looking forward to it!
Is this something you're likely to look at again at some point? I ask as I use as 49" ultrawide monitor and whilst the taskbar icons being in the middle is great, having the start button back on the left again, not so much..
Please, add an option to turn off the Taskbar Labels. And an option to position the Taskbar on the Right/Left.
It would be nice if we could set our own default color for net pinned items
It's not possible to start multiple apps with a split second of each other from the taskbar pinned icons. Every morning I start Outlook, Chrome and Firefox and normally it's just click, click and click on each icon and all the applications open.
With the Start11 Taskbar, doing this just moves the icons around, and only one application will open. I need to take my time and wait 2-3 seconds between clicking on each icon to open the application.
Can you look at making this more responsive please.
Issued noticed this morning, when switching between applications (I use the Taskbar and mouse to do this), noticed that there is a border of maybe 2px high at the bottom of the Taskbar. So you can't slide your mouse all the way to the bottom of the screen and click the app icon to switch to it, you have to move the mouse cursor up 2-3px from the bottom edge to be able to click the icon.
I would consider this a bug, as there should be no bordered at the bottom of the taskbar preventing me from clicking on the application icon easily to open it and not expected behavior. Needing to move the cursor up 2-3px is fiddly.
Windows 11 Pro 21H2 22000.556Start11 v1.16 - Windows 10 styleLet Start11 enhance the taskbar - on (I think)Taskbar buttons should be combined - whatever is default
Unfortunately, I found the v1.2 beta unusable and had to revert to v1.11 (hence, uncertain about a couple of the above settings). The main reason is that it doesn't cope with a hidden taskbar, which has always been by normal setting in Windows.
> v1.16 - With Hide Taskbar selected, when moving the mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen, the taskbard does not appear at all. The Start menu was only available by pressing the keyboard Start button.> v1.11 - There is also an issue with hidden taskbar in this version. When moving the mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen in the region of the system tray, the taskbar does not appear. This was actually a bug in Windows 11 itself during the beta stage but was fixed prior to the final release.
Other issues I have with v1.11 relating to the Windows 10 style menu that remain in v1.16..
> When opening a grouped Start menu folder, scrolling through the menu becomes inhibited. If the group is near the top of the menu, scrolling is frozen. If the group is near the bottom of the visible menu, scrolling then shifts the menu to hide whatever was below it, and is then frozen.> The thumbnail icons on the group folder are in random order and don't reflect the order the icons appear inside the group. So for example, I see a programme I want that appears first on the group folder and so when I open the folder I expect to move my cursor to the first item, but instead, it could be anywhere. As far as I'm aware, in Windows 10 itself, the thumbnail order on the folder is always the same as the icon order within the group.> Some issues getting the correct icons to appear for certain menu items, most of which I could work around by altering the associated shortcuts. But for iCloud (for me, I just want iCloud Shared Albums), there doesn't seem any way of getting an icon to appear in the Start11 menu, I just get an empty grey box.
Despite the issues, I am generally impressed with Start11 and it is really the only reason I was able to comfortably upgrade to Windows 11. Hopefully some or all of the above issues can be addressed, particularly the hidden taskbar issues, or else I will have to remain on v1.11.
I am having issues with Network, Volume, Battery and Clock being un-clickable when Start11 is managing Task Bar
My only problem, like I reported at the begining of the post, it's when I right-click on the first icon (explorer) and the folder appears so to the left that a little part are out of screen. No sometimes happens, but I couldn't find when happens or don't. Sometimes I can¡t see the icons, sometimes a part of the name of the folder,...
I would like the centered screen icons, but I prefer don't join icons and the possibility to drag a file to a rogram in the task bar. So if it's the price I pay for it.
Hello. Love this software, but I am having just one issue with it. Whenever I am copying a file and the copy window is open I can no longer interact with the taskbar at all. No left click, no right click. It visually updates, but its otherwise dead. Triple display setup and all three taskbars stop responding. Once the copy is complete it goes back to responding normally. This happens every single time, not just occasionally.
I have my taskbar set to top, never combine buttons on main display, and horizontally centered buttons.
Windows 11 21H2 22000.556
Thank you!
I don't see a difference between setting the taskbar grouping between always and sometimes. I'd like sometimes to have the same behavior as Windows 10 where an app (i.e., Edge) with multiple windows open gets combined but other apps are still expanded.
Hi
Another bug. Have taskbar set at the top, but it has blocked off the bottom as well - can't expand any windows or drag down apps tot hat bottom section. Only started doing it today after testing for a week.
Changing the settings to taskbar to bottom, restart, set to top, restart fixes it.
If Taskbar buttons are set to Never combine and you've multiple applications open they don't all appear, makes using Windows very difficult. Windows 10 used to just reduce the width of the buttons to squeeze them all in.
Currently I've 13 applications open but my Taskbar only displays 8 buttons in the Taskbar, which makes the whole thing pointless!
This is due to a bug. If you have vertically centre buttons enabled it does scale correctly and we have this fixed for the next update.
Error when I want activate "Let Start11 enhance the taskbar" I using Windows 11 Pro 21H2 22000.556
I'm using 1.16. If I enable let start11 enhance the taskbar and set right click start to open win+x menu instead of start11 menu while I have my laptop connected to a monitor to extend the desktop, right click does not work. Only using the start11 right click start menu will work. This is only when start11 enhance is enabled and I have the 2nd monitor plugged in
