I use Multiplicy KVM to play EverQuest on multiple computers, and with the recent EQ upgrade to 64-bit servers, Multiplicity is "broken" now. Keyboard works fine, but if I use the mouse to move (right click) or look around (left click), it duplicates that action on all other connected computers. This was happening on the Test server several weeks ago, and is now happening on the Live server after today's patch/update. I'm not the only person having this issue.
Update: If EQ has indeed prevented Multiplicity from functioning properly, there is nothing we can do about it.
Update: The changes for EQ were incorporated into Multiplicity 3.60

I'm experiencing this issue as well. Adding a replay to keep an eye out for a fix.
Adding a post here as well, Powershell coding and XMouse add-on does not fix it. Running all in Admin, etc.
Will be waiting eagerly for a fix as it becomes a huge factor! haha.
Its like we're synchronized dancers out there
I am also experiencing this problem. Please do a fix for us and let us know the status.
Same problem as everyone else where secondary machine mouse is moving primary character.
Still not working after doing a complete uninstall / purge and reinstall on both machines using instructions from: https://forums.stardock.com/486104/multiplicity-support-faq#reinstalling
No success trying the x-mouse trick found elsewhere.
However, clicking off primary EQ program onto taskbar before moving mouse to secondary machine does stop secondary machine from moving primary character.
Crossing fingers that a fix is found. Thanks for the help Stardock.
X-Mouse does fix the issue, but I do not want to have to use another tool to get the job done.
Just putting same issue thing here, so you see that there are alot of players that have this problem.
May as well toss my hat into this. Samsies ^^
Ahhh Yes! I am have same issue and was going nuts reinstalling Mutiplicity on them all as I thought the 'pressing ctrl 3 times' setting got stuck.
Same exact issue here, just adding my reply to the list.
Mouse Without Borders has the same issue as Multiplicity.
Same issue here
Same issue here. Thank you for working on a fix.
Same issue. I honestly do not expect them to do anything much less read these posts. But I will put in my two cents
The x-mouse "fix" is buggy at best. It occasionally just stops working and you have to run it again. It also makes it so you can't use grouped-programs on the windows taskbar or the task preview images do not work.
x-mouse works for me. I hope they atleast respond to this issue of I will have to re-evaluate my software needs going forward.
Any updates on a fix for this?
I also have been having this issue and it's very frustrating, I'm glad I found this thread to report it.
I too am experiencing the same issue.
As previously mentioned, a lot of Everquest players use this particular software and I feel that most will choose another option very quickly if one is found to not have this issue. This isn't a case of people threatening to take their business elsewhere out of some dramatic gesture, so I hope this isn't being ignored. It is a matter of the software becoming unviable for its primary use.
I can make do for the short term, because the keyboard is unaffected, but I can guarantee there is not a chance I will be putting up with this for too long.
I hope Stardock is still looking into this issue. It's been over three weeks since we've heard any updates. If possible, could we get an update or estimate on when a fix will be implemented? Thanks!
There is another KVM called Barrier. It is quite terrible when compared to the Stardock software. However, they have a setting called "Elevate" that when clicked solved my problem. Without that setting being clicked, their software behaved exactly like the problem described in this thread. Other problems keep me from switching to their product. I really like Multiplicity and hope a fix is eventually found.
The issue has reached the top of the pile and we believe we have identified what the issue is and planned a solution to fix it, next step is to actually do it
Great News! Thank you for the update!
